I'm trying to make the run to golden Druid but it is taking forever! I've had good luck with control Druid but the matches run really long. Druid doesn't seem to have a lot of good agro decks. Any suggestions?
You're wrong if you think that faster games means faster golden portrait grinding. You need the most efficient deck and it's double combo midrange one.
I play midrange druid currently at rank 3 and I average 6 minutes per game.
That is too long for you? If so, look at dwl_s post, Not sure how faster it is, for me personally midrange still has better winrate than aggro but it's very comparable.
Jokes aside, isn't midrange druid pretty damn fast for a midrange deck?
It's not quite aggro, though, since you tend to want board control (as in, no taunts blocking combo) and finish with a combo, comparable to the Muster-Quartermaster combo staple in Paladin midrange decks. It is pretty face heavy though, since their top priority is to get you down to combo damage health.

Yeah, I agree with that. I haven't played too much mid-range druid, but my impression is that it is a fair bit faster than mid-range pally and a bit slower than mid-range hunter.
If time is very important, perhaps run an extreme aggro druid till 10ish and then switch to mid-range?
