I tried your Dragon Deck and it's very nice. The synergy is there and the Druid removal cards help clear the way for the Combo. I just did one swap from your list :
removed Dr Boom and added Kezan Mystic because the problem is still the same in this current meta. Everyone is running BGH so i wanted them to die with their BGH in the hand and you need something to escape from Ice Block /Freezing Trap / Mirror Entity / Counterspell.
Only wished Corruptor life isn't that low because it get killed too easily for my taste but his battlecry is just too god to pass when playing Dragons.
Just doing a fast copy/ paste of a couple of comments somebody else told me about that he read on a different site... Pretty well summing up what is going on about Druid right now!
About Ramp Druid :
Still nothing new coming from Ramp Druid. It continues to remain near the bottom of the rankings with so many decks being quite successful against it. For now it remains a deck for special situations.
About Mid Range / Combo Druid :
Nothing too new for Druid as it’s decidedly again in the middle of the pack. It doesn’t have any particularly great matchups against any of the decks at the top of the ladder. That being said, many of its poor matchups are close to nonexistent now (Mech Mage, Mech Shaman, Aggro Paladin) and it doesn’t necessarily have too poor matchups against most of the top decks. For the first time, in a while, Druid has very even matchups against what you can find on the ladder.
Watched dog play standard combo druid with a few tech cards and he manged to hang around between ranks 27 - to as low as 6 (legend rank).
Druid i believe it specifically designed on what you mulligan and how to play out your curve each and every hand. Having the necessary four drops or five drops when needed.
I think that Druid might be working just fine when you're already on the Legendary rank but laddering up to Legend with it sounds very hazardous to say the least... There's probably much more face hunter and rush decks on the ranking below Legendary (at least on EU, can't say for the others).
I've been playing the standard double combo but with Senjin instead of Belchers and Harvest Golem instead of Shades, works better in this meta with all the mid range locks, tempo mages and facepalmhunters, especially with everyone running double silence Belcher is not so good
Double Ooze is nice in the current meta, it's cheaper than Harrison Jones to stop an early Eaglehorn Bow aggression and still give you a soft counter to Mirror Entity since it's taking Zombie Chow's slot in the deck list. Belcher is on a hard spot right now because of all the Silence that's true. Exactly why i'm more likely to run Druid of the Claw rather than Sludge right now. Sen'jin is also very nice at the start of the season with the super fast aggro fest we're experiencing.
Harvest Golem will work just fine to replace Shades. It was the 3 drop of choice back in the days before Naxx. Druid of the Flame is also working better than i expected at first.
I'm a bit more concerned about dropping Sylvanas since she's a real threat but sacrifices has to be made. Also hard to see a list without Kezan nowadays. But overall it will be working just fine. The problem still stands though, without any new cards for Druid and with the current state of the Ladder it will be a hard time for Druid no matter what we try. Just try to be less of a doormat than some other Druid decklists with this double combo or a mix taunt / Ramp druid is the only thing we can do right now...
Thanks for sharing your list. As always it's tricky to see how you have to make choices about what to put in (like Harrison, Kezan and double Sen'jin) and what to cut for it (like Loatheb, Thaurissan, Azure Drake, Sylvanas, Shredder or Zombie Chow).
I think that finding this balance is the most crucial thing when playing Druid right now.
