I agree with this, it makes no sense to use it at 9 mana so if you wanted to draw the card you would have to wait one more turn.
Mod Stuff: In the future don't just make a thread and say read the title. Add some sustenance to the thread by making the post more than two words. At least write a sentence, preferably one that adds to the conversation.
If I were you I would have made the title name like "Wild Growth at 9 mana", and then have the opening sentence be something similar to "Don't you think Wild Growth should give excess mana when used at 9 mana crystals?" I would add another sentence or two probably as well, if it were me that is.

Well you clearly understood what I was getting at xD I don't really know what else there is to say about it, as it stands Wild Growth is 100% useless on turn 9 specifically.

Well to be fair, if this change comes through, how about turn 8 for the future? thats gonna be exact the same, wonder how long this can go down :P maybe they should just add "Draw a card" on it...
I don't think you understand. There is literally no reason to play this card on turn 9; you gain nothing. If you don't play it, you start next turn with 10 mana. If you do play it, you start next turn with 10 mana.

Totally in agreement with the topic and the suggestion of the9tail, the card should read somethink like: "Give an empty mana crystal. If you have 9 or 10 mana crystals, draw a card instead."

Or they could change the card to be "Choose one: Gain an empty mana crystal or draw a card" ?
Because it changes the card fundamentally rather than bug fixing a stupid situation where you get a card for free for no reason (nothing is written about it on the card) and having to cast 2 spells for what really should of been rolled into the existing card.
