Not even a deck in tier 1, nothing above 50% WR excepting token with 51%, a playstyle (wide board) that is outclassed by pretty much every other class.
Blizzard gave us a ton of cards for an archetype (heal) just to release a very popular card that absolutely obliterates the entire thing (Zephyrs giving you mass dispel), which means over 50% of the cards in the last 2 expansions are neigh worthless. They gave us tools for beasts but have not released any decent beast for 3 expansions already, Grizzly being the only viable beast you can run.
To top that, the nerf of Innervate, nourish and Wild Growth, back when druid had no decks in T1, mind you, has destroyed most of the ramping capabilities rendering most of the classic set useless due to their over-costed nature to compensate for the ramping possibilities.
The quest is a poor attempt to bring some of those cards back into relevance but it comes quite short to be efficient, although that one perhaps will resurface if only warrior and mages get finally fixed.
So my question is, when the hell will Blizzard give Druid some tool they can actually use?
Given the new design philosophy, I doubt druid will never be what it used to be (unless you like token druid). And by "what it used to be", I don't mean the just bonkers KFT brokenness; I'm also referring to the more tame decks before them. Maybe the class itself might become good again at some point, but gameplay will be very different because we already know what blizzard will and won't print for the class
Just move on to a different class, mate. I used to only have a few thousand druid wins, but just this expansion, I got my golden mage and shaman. Not because I like golden heroes, but because druid isn't fun anymore
As for why druid is currently bad, it's simple. Choose one is one of the major mechanics. The existence of the quest severely limits the power level of choose one cards but at the same time, caused many of these weakened choose one cards to be printed as synergy. If hidden oasis was printed in the absence of the quest, we'd all have a good meme about it being purify 2.0. Nourish probably died for this too
To be fair - Quest Druid is perfectly viable, with a win-rate fractionally below 50%. The deck's worst match-ups are against the decks which are most-likely to be nerfed (Control Warrior, and the various flavours of Galaxy/Conjurer Mage.) Unless the OP has reason to suspect that there won't be a balance patch for Uldum, it seems premature to complain about anyone's "shaft."
Quest Druid is my favorite deck right now. I think it is pretty strong, not crazy broken, but def. a strong tier 2.
I think the key is finding a version with an actual win condition. The just play strong cards and hope for the best versions seem bad.
Malygos version seems good Nomi version seems ok I play a heavy token version and I think it is pretty good I have even seen an OTK APM infinite combo with gloops and bees, that one seems questionable but I think Druid has cool options to play

Good news. Nerfs are coming. More Druid cards can get nerfed.
Quest Druid has a perfectly acceptable win rate. Many, many people have climbed to Legend with it.
If you don't like it, don't play it, but know this: HSReplay is not the ultimate arbiter of what is or is not "good."

Trump got to legend with classic cards, anecdotal evidence is irrelevant in the face of statistics.

Imo druid is pretty balanced atm. Has its own strenths and weaknesses.

I understand that, but it's impossible to refute your so-called statistics when you don't even name your source.

And statistics are irrelevant when they are largely based on spastic users from ranks 25-10.
Yeah this thread has not aged well...quest druid in an optimized version is a grandmaster deck lol.
