Just curious if anyone else has tried out something like this. Treespeaker and Mulchmuncher are very strong in this. Playing few minions and using many spells to generate tokens allows you to get a bunch of value from Crystalsong Portal more often. I know that the much more aggressive token druids seem to be pretty good right now, but this somewhat midrange version is not bad either i think. I put Keeper Stalladris in there just to get easy bonus value from Power of the Wild, Wrath, and Mark of the Loa, but otherwise i would probably have a second copy of Blessing of the Ancients.
Yes definitely! Landing a Treespeaker even on 2 or 3 Treants really shifts the tempo in your favor. I'm running a Token Druid list (mostly my own) that takes advantage of Treant synergy.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I ran one before the rotation but I found that too often I would get overrun by aggro. Maybe dreamway helps with this but it was difficult for me to keep things on the board. I'll admit I'm definitely intrigued to try it again!
The thing i really like about this synergy is that it sort of perseveres however your opponent reacts.
Leave them on board? Thanks! Destroy them so i can play a very cheap Mulchmuncher? Thanks!
There's no lack of token generation with all the treant spells available. Still unsure if i should actually run two copies of The Forest's Aid but for now i think i will, because it is the better option to fill the board if the game goes on longer, and if you hold it in your hand you can still take advantage of that with Wispering Woods.
I don't have any Crystalsong Portals, but I do have two Treespeakers lying around and I love that card, so I went with a more Treant focused list myself. I also tossed in Cenarius and Flobbidinous Floop since I didn't have to worry about the portals. Floop gets awesome value with every minion in the deck except Acornbearer and her squirrels, and makes it feel less bad playing out any of the legendaries for tempo, which you sometimes have to do. I haven't tried running Mulchmuncher though because of the anti-synergy with Treespeaker.

I think maybe you play mulch muncher after treespeaker and that might count as deaths towards the discount of the muncher? maybe not though. something that would be worth trying though for sure.

Nah, transforming the treants doesnt count as them dying, so it doesn't discount the munchers unfortunately.
I don't have force of nature or treespeaker yet so will probs just have to stick with the list I have. I get treespeaker from the portals sometimes though so still get to use it.

Crystalsong Portal is not really necessary, but it is very valuable to have if your hand becomes sparse or you are not holding minions. I kind of chose cards based on meeting that requirement to some extent, so that's why there's only 7 minion cards included. Flobbidinous Floop and Cenarius sounds like good options if you aren't running those. Keeper Stalladris is a legendary i really do not mind playing on turn 2 (or coin turn 1) because i will often be holding Wrath or Power of the Wild and that gives you a to of value if you can play one of them next turn.
I personally do not think Mulchmuncher or Treespeaker have anti-synergy in the sense that they conflict with eachother, but rather have an opposite condition. The way i see it, if you manage to get value out of Treespeaker earlier than you can with Mulchmuncher you've got a ton of value, and if the opposite is true, you still get a lot of value.
Although Treespeaker is really good it may be a poor value on it's own if your opponent keeps clearing your board, which means you'll be at a disadvantage. You won't be taking advantage of both every game but you'll always be able to take advantage of at least one of the two, and one does not obstruct the other from ever meeting it's condition because of how many treants you can summon with this.
I don’t get treespeaker. It seems to be anti tempo. If I can finally get a board to stick it’s usually a win. I can see that there may be a few niche cases where it’ll set you up for a win. Versus warrior they have to have no brawls and has to be before turn 10. Maybe vs rogue it helps??

I thought it might be a bit slow as you have to wait a whole other turn to use them, but it probably has it's uses still.
It has been working beautifully, I went 14-4 to rank 5 and still going. I replaced the cards above because I don't have them, and I doubt I will craft them.

I feel like it's good to have if you are generating a heavy amount of treants. Lethal damage via tokens and buffs is great and i win games that way quite often as well, but i don't really see a reason not to play it, unless you are heavily determined to win all your games as fast as possible or not at all. If you have a board of tokens and your opponent is concerned you may do some kind of Savage Roar combo for lethal they may put priority on clearing your board, which seams like a reasonable strategy for stopping a win condition involving a board sticking.
My strategy is to play a ton of tokens and put a ton of pressure on the enemy with the possibility of buffing them all, so they will typically expend a lot to try and stop that and if they don't i can use them to win. If you just have a board of 1 or 2 health minions you're trying to stick it will mean they need to use less damage or valuable cards to deal with it. If you can get a bunch of treants early and create even 2 or 3 ancients it will give your opponent much fewer options to react. Warrior has cards like Brawl and Warpath sure, but it's highly unlikely they will have all of them available at once, and typically do not find extra copies lying around. Treespeaker puts a lot of stats down making your board more resilient and hard to ignore.
With this deck for example, there's a LOT of token generation which means even if they play both copies of Brawl and Warpath, which probably won't happen because the games don't last THAT long, you'd likely still have a lot more steam to generate tokens (and may still keep one after a brawl anyway if you have minion advantage). What i am playing is less of minion spam aggro all or nothing by turn 5 deck and more of an endless waves of treants, wisps, mammals and dinosaurs with the odd hungry hungry Mulchmuncher.
All of those cards have a second copy, so that's 18/30 cards or 60% of the deck. This does not include Keeper Stalladris which is an awesome card to get more resources by playing your choose one spells which summon minions. So after you have played these cards to efficiently establish your board, you still have more, and then the ball enters your court, hopefully. As every other deck it has it's weaknesses, particularly decks that can play big boards quickly like a silence priest because token druid relies a lot on minions for removal.
I have been doing well on ladder so far after starting the year of the dragon at rank 16 or so i am about to reach 10+ and get my golden malfurion finally. I was using two copies of Crystalsong Portal, however one is more than enough and i have a second Blessing of the Ancients which is an improvement from what i can tell.

Completely agree. Swapping in a Treespeaker and a Mulchmuncher and focusing more on tempo rather than wide boards has gone a long way with the deck. Gave me the extra push to rank 5 and beyond as a result.

First deck i tried, but failed miserable. It was littlebit different list so i should try this one.

Treespeaker can pull off some absolutely insane early game.
Turn 5, 29/29 in stats. If he doesn't have Brawl, it's gg.

I might craft the speakers to test this out. looks great. I get them from portal together sometimes and has been good so far.

I have been with my Tree deck build, and I love it so far :)
cool faeria avatar. I have that one in game actually.

Thanks! It's my favorite one in Faeria as well! Good to see other Faeria players here :)

yeah it is cool. I got the shadow version of the turtle so been using that one.
I thought it might be a bit slow as you have to wait a whole other turn to use them, but it probably has it's uses still.
As of now, I run a standard token list with:
-1 Keeper Stalladris
-2 Crystalsong Portal
+2 Mulchmuncher
+1 Zilliax
It has been working beautifully, I went 14-4 to rank 5 and still going. I replaced the cards above because I don't have them, and I doubt I will craft them.
