There is a version that priests run with Sunfury Protectors, Defender of Argus and Ancient watchers. They also run holy fire along with 2 Mcs. It beats druid ramp but all other versions of priest is a good matchup. It got top 4 in a managrind tourney and was used by idipinurpink at 2p NA vs. CN. Here is RumHam losing with his ramp deck to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_t6HDDWRMg

Did you actually watch that video? Some of his plays (at least to me) are very questionable.

Regarding your 95% win percentage, but with the amount of high cost cards in this deck, how can you really be at 95% win rate? You gotta figure that there's more than a 1/20 chance that you draw all 6 + cards without any ramp in your hand. Versus most aggro, I would imagine this puts you way too far behind.
Edit: Just tried a couple of games, I mulliganed my opening hand of 6+ cards, to get another hand of 5+ cards 2 games in a row. Lost to rush decks.
obviously he doesn't have a 95% win ratio over a large enough sample size (50+ games) in ranked games, just out here to get some attention he apparently needs badly.
Exactly. Deck posters are, 95% of the time, overestimating the strength of their deck. Or the only sample size they are using is after a series of matches against their seven year old sibling.
And his screenshots, if not against his little sister, are likely against the AI.
You realize he made it into the top 15 players in ranked with this deck?
I love this deck. I run about a 90% win rate on it as well in m***. Its a blast to play, plays different minions, plays a whole different game. Great deck.
Terrible for grinding gold, however =P. SLOOOOW games sometimes.
This thread seems to be turning into a defense or debunk of this particular druid deck instead of what we can do to improve it. I for one don't think it was as good as it was 2 weeks ago. BanderitaUSA is not even in the top 100 currently. Currently this is my dream list (since i don't have the legendaries right now). I play a few of one ofs as I wanna draw a combination of them but never two. I'm considering 1 argent crusader or sunwalker for Ysera as she is often a win more card. I think ancient of war is better then Lore right now due to it's ability to completely shut out aggro decks and it's usually a two for one in the mirror. Even if they silence it you still have a 5/5. The deck has enough card draw as it is.If anyone who has a Ysera in there druid deck can tell me how good it is that would be great.
I played only this deck that week. Told it here somewhere, around 50-2 score. I can't speak for other deckposters, but I don't post decks that don't do really well in Masters 3, unless they are insanely fun. That's why I posted this one and my Warlock one, which is old now but had 85% win ratio for around 100 games.
This one did better so I decided to share it, and it was different enough to guarantee it's own thread (in a world of Clerics, Argus and Dwarfs).
I stopped playing Hearthstone since I got back to WoW about 2 weeks ago, but I agree that the deck isn't as strong as it was before, since it's been played more and aggro players put in a few more removals, I didn't play this deck much since then because I wanted to test other decks and see if I could find something strong outside the Meta, but it didn't work out and ended up with a Warrior enrage deck with just 75% win ratio, obviously very low to make it to top 50. After that I played a bit of Arena and nothing more, but that was November.
I still think that with Ragnaros and Bloodmage Thalnos in, this deck can still mantain 90%+ win ratio, although, as it's been said before, it's not a gold farming tool (like a Warlock or Warrior deck) since it has slow win conditions.
Ancient of War is really nice but you lose the capability of playing two threats in the same turn, which is what you do as Ramp in the turn 7-8.
The problem with lore is if you use it to gain life you are on the back foot. You have a 5/5; great but that's infinitely more manageable then a 5/10. I 'm finding i need my minions to stick around to gain board control and really what top tier deck has silence in it. Yes you drew two cards but they are still most likely to win when you are at < 10 life.Even against control, no shadow word death, great , your screwed. OTK?, better to have a 5/10 taunt, the upside is crazy value when they don't have a silence, which is rare. I agree Thalnos and Ragnaros belong in any late game control deck. Class doesn't mater. I spent some money and this is my updated version.

Your point about lore can certainly be made for Nourish as well. I still like lore in this deck and that card has made the difference between winning and losing for me especially with the amount of pyro mages out there. I normally use it for the card draw though. Lore doesn't get MC'd like war does either. Both have their place.
Mark of the wild is not in the deck. I must have miss clicked. It's 2 starfall. Auctioneer is to slow against aggro decks and more situational then Nourish. The point with Nourish is that you can cast it and still have 5 mana crystals left to play around with. Lore at 7 slows down things too much and i don't care about the 5/5. The life gain on lore is nice but you will still have a hard matchup vs. mage stall. Aggro mage is a good match-up w/o lore, mage tends to run out of polymorphs b4 you run out of taunts. I wouldn't want to see lore or nourish in my hand till late game against aggro. One or the other is needed against control. As far as MC goes you play Ancient as a 10/5 or just kill them with 4/4s but priest is a good matchup anyways, so who cares.
A quite different version of a Druid Ramp deck was used in the 2P Team NA vs CN, that destroyed a Mage Aggro and a Warlock Aggro. Druids are playable at the top despite most strong players saying that only Mage / Warlock / Paladin / Shaman / Rogue are playable.
Keep making Druid decks and deviate from standard cookie cutter aggro decks :D!

Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.
I got the beta last week and since I am fond of the whole druid theme I have made an effort to create this deck! I just love how the druid cards let you choose what you want to do with them so you can better suit each individual situation.
I don't have any of the ancient's at the moment but will probably look to get some of them next. (Nelf player in Warcraft 3 - Ancients - fond memory! :) )
I am wondering if you have any tips on what I can add/change out in the deck for now, and which of the ancients would be better to add eventually?
I am using a yeti and a dark iron dwarf for now since I felt they are giving me a good boost in the early/middle game, specially if I can coin/innervate them out early. Though I feel I lack some of the end game heavy hitters, so do you think it would be smart to add something more 'lategamish' ?
Ragnaros is great but usually I don't get off more than one of the proccs due to hex/poly etc.
I apologize if you find this question silly!
All tips appriciated!
Your deck seems kind of scattered. If you plan on playing for the early middle game why not add 2.Shattered Sun Clerics 2. Defender of Argus 2. Harvest golem. -1 Abomination -2 tazdingo -1 sunwalker -1 nourish. -1 one of something else.
pyroblast is certainly a problem. I play close to the original list and its the only deck that really gives me a problem. Although I am seeing more big creature decks around, which is interesting.
Meta is shifting and so should this deck, but I'm not Hearthstoning right now so I won't be able to help you guys.
If all, looking at the Patch notes and the shift to Mages instead of Warlocks, [Card]Starfall[/Card],[Card]Keeper of the Grove[/Card] and Swipe+Thalnos seems a lot better (2 HP Cleric and Commander), taunters seem weaker and bigger monsters (Giants) bring troubles since we don't have direct removal.
Big Game Hunter is a great answer to Giants, and you could try adding [Card]Claw[/Card] back against Cleric/Commander/Knife Juggler.
Against Pyroblast, Druid has some options: Healing Touch, Bite and Ancient of Lore, with Lore being the weakest answer but most versatile, Healing Touch being the strongest but less versatile and Bite in the middle. I personally prefer Bite to all the others, as it doubles as removal and direct damage.
PD: Chinese teams played a lot of Druid in the tournament and their approach was to use [Card]Ancient Watcher[/Card]s with Argus and Sunfury Protector. They also all seemed to add a Healing Touch as a tool to survive to-the-face attacks, and dropped the Wild Growth and Ramp aspect in favor of better early game. Can't blame them when they play against Rogue/Mage/Warlock every single time. I feel like 1 Healing Touch should be a good tech against metamages and other aggro decks and your draws are enough to not be too bad against Control. Just a tought!
Been trying the CN list, and its not bad at all. The heal is quite nice since there is so many aggro decks. Defenders of argus always feel really strong.
Sometimes I miss the draw 3, but then the deck just seems to motor right along in top-deck mode since there isn't a whole lot of bad draws.
I also don't miss wild growth as much as I thought I would. Wild growth I think is just not great against mage. Although claw often feels awkward before turn three if the mage has played a mana wurm or, even then, if they have played mirror image.
Yea, I think it's time to let Wild Growth go, Innervate alone is enough to bring the threats early. Defender of Argus is really strong and I've been laddering with a mix between the Chinese list and this deck, which has quite a decent success rate, although slow to climb the ranks I must add.
Wild Growth on turn 2 is a suspect decision. You're skipping turn 2 so you can cut straight to turn 4, and in this metagame those can be busy turns for your prospective opponents on the ladder. It's okay to use later with excess mana or even as a deck-thinning tool after you're already at 10 mana, if you choose to use it at all.

He made it into the Top 15. I doubt he played this deck to exclusion in doing so. I doubt he played this deck the majority of those matches.
