Haha I do love the “if you don’t agree save your words” attitude 😂
I honestly can’t talk about Druids, but if you go and look at the numbers this kind of things do happen when the Nerfs hit, also, this kind of post pops up by someone who complains about another class and many times they refuse to keep an open mind.
I don't think druid is really doing that bad. People just need to figure out the optimal lists again. Nerfing/removing ramp from the lists does much more than require card replacements; screwing with the ramp throws the entire curve off and the whole list needs to be readjusted accordingly. That's hard to do
As a druid main, I'm pretty peeved that they nerfed evergreen cards to solve a rotation (KFT) problem again (innervate). The class is going to need to rely on support from expansions next rotation, like how priest historically worked. Though at the end of the day, I'm not that mad. It's been awhile since I went to build a druid deck and didn't have something like 6 cards I couldn't fit in the list at the end. Making things work again is going to be a new deckbuilding challenge :)
BTW, to all you druid mains out there that miss "doing druid things", I highly recommend jade druid in wild with oaken summons on greedy sprites. The amount of ramp is equivalent to pre-nerf druid decks. My winrate is in the 70s, but I guess that's how wild works lol. Working on standard lists atm
I hated druid, it was my least favourite class, but nerfing both nourish and wild growth (both classic cards) was wrong. Been trying out the class this season and it's not easy to play, and other classes all have ways to tear through that wall of plague. Perhaps the armour gain and UI should have been the target.
the problems were always Plague, UI and Spellstone
Wild Growth into Branching Paths into Nourish into turn 5 coin Oakheart doesn't rely on any of those cards. Druid was always going to be able to ramp too quickly into a super late game strategy and just break the game every time. Polarizing decks like Shudderwock that can only be beat by aggro or another combo that matches up well but which can also hold off aggro pretty well? They suck to play against. So how about a polarizing class? REALLY sucks to play against.
It's not all about win %. It's also about how it feels to play against decks. Playing against Druid was unfun. That's bad for the game. Druid needed a new identity. Ramp was a mistake and they've basically removed it from the game. It will take time for Druid to find a new identity but it will. Druid will get to the point where it has strong decks that aren't universally unfun to play against. In the meantime the player base in general wins because we don't have to slog it out against unfun Druid decks.

Blizzard killed Druids identity i had no problem with ramp but UI draw 5 card, 5 shield and a 5/5 that's too much and plague filling the board THAT is frustrating..Ramping without those card its not a big deal
I think wild growth was fine, Nourish alone would have been enough imo. I thought druid was a pretty cool class but it was a bit oppressive and meta shaping.
But you guys know what this means right? The next expansion is going to be a druid hero and busted cards since a lot of druids cards in YOTR have been weaker than other classes to compensate for their insane YOTM cards.

This is my problem, if they want to nerf the ramp, then don't push hero attack as a mechanic, it's so clumsy.
Lol @ unique when most of the decks were the same 25 cards with a few different game closers. I do agree the nerfs were way too heavy-handed. Ramp was never the problem, Drood getting easy card draw to refill after ramping for a few turns and good removal was the issue. Ramp Drood may have existed since beta but that's because the class was designed for it. I don't ever recall it being oppressive until Knights and UI.
When a card is auto-include in every deck since the day it was released, it means there is something wrong with that card. All nerfs were correct.
I think, that's tge concept of "Basic" cards, to be the base of the class's decks. Preparation is also in alnoast every non Odd rogue deck, or Fan of knifes is also everywhere... All classes gas basic cards that are used in almoast every decks, but that's nlt problem...
Wild Growth and Nourish will both be around forever in the classic/basic sets. No point in complaining about timing, as these changes will carry over to next rotation and still be relevant. The problem is that about all Druid decks ever used Wild Growth with the exception of very few aggro ones. Nourish has also become more and more popular. These changes break Druid deckbuilding wide open and force players to look for new ways to build Druid. Even Pounce/Gonk Druid just played the Maly Shell because it was that good. We have not had a proactive Druid in a long time as even Token Druid played more like a combo deck than a boardcentric proactive one. Now they have to give us new tools in April and all shall be fine.
I'm not sure what blizzard was thinking when they did this. They're fine with letting us see the hunter spellstone on 5 and rexxar on 6 for the next 4 months, so were a couple of tier 1-2 druid decks THAT bad? We already know the class dies in April, I'm really not sure why they would just go ahead and delete what was in my opinion the most unique class.
I honestly believe if they had just nerfed one of either Nourish or Wild Growth, the class would be more balanced than it ever was. It would be playable but it would be taken down a few notches to the point where it just had tier 2-3 decks.
Do people still agree with the druid nerfs? Or is everyone on the same page here?

I’m sorry, one of the most unique classes? Are we talking about the same class that had the same 17-20 card shell for every deck? Should’ve just nerfed one or the other and it would’ve been a bit better
Personally I like and hate those nerf at the same time. Before druid had everythink they need - ramp, board clear - more precisely board punish, draw, heal. So nerfing both nourish and growth was needed. But on the other hand druid will most likely join curvestone, like all classes besides rogue. And that's is boring, no healthy mana cheating, no games when I can invest time for future advantage. Ofc we have overload, discard new elemental discount but nobody plays it - only curvestone starting from turn 2.
yeh pls browse your collection and tell me what kind of 1 drops, 2 drops and 3 drops druids have right now . talking about curvestone while the entire class have no good early drops. the class always based on ramping. if you kill druid's ramp at least make good early drops like all other classes have
I'm main druid player with 2300+ wins with him and play since beta test. Thank blizzard for this nerf so i've made my dicision to leave heartstone for some more games next years.

spellstone and duskbraker are both broken, thats the point of mentioning them in the same sentance mr smart ass
Druid needed to be nerfed it was good far to long I never play Druid decks cause they are boring decks that put me to sleep.

What are you talking about not tier 4? Spiteful druid is tier 3 at least.

Nourish nerf is overkill, but i do understand it.
Wild Growth is less of an overkill, but its impact is far worse, and i disagree with it.
However, i am unconvinced that those abysmal winrates are the final ones ones for Druids.
I mean, Wild Even Druid still has an edge over some of the topdogs of the meta, Even Shaman and Odd Rogue, so the class can't be all that doomed.
I am in Wild love with Darnassus Aspirant and Mire Keeper.
it's ok, nobody misses druid was tier 1 for way too long

Lol, druids mad cuz they cant UI turn 5 anymore.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Wild growth got fiery war axe treatment... Mainly because both of them are from basic set which is supposed to be somewhat weaker than other sets...
