So I'm just casually playing Big Druid right now and I have to say, the deck is absolutely busted, thanks to Master Oakheart and Biology Project.
If you get Oakheart in your opening hand it's pretty much GG the moment you reach 9 mana. Biology Project makes htis reasonably possible by turn 3. Even with 6 mana, most opponents can't deal with that board. The only exceptions I know are Brawl (not recommended if Hadronox was pulled) Vanish, Equality +Consecration and Cataclysm (OmegaLuL).
Out of all these only Vanish seems reliable, but that's only present in Pogo Rogue (which admittedly, is a pretty good counter to Big Druid, but I don't think it fares very well agasint anything else).
I hope this is enough for the devs to consider gutting Oakheart, ssimply because that card should have never been printed in the first place. I also really think that Biology Project is a really gross card that hides its power by pretending to have a downside (giving your opponent extra mana crystals turn one mostly just screw up their mulligan.
Either way, I don't think a deck that can actually just win the match just by highrolling in your opening hand Is healthy for the game.
Would like to hear actual Druid players give their opinion on this.
I'm just gonna add here that I just played 6 games with BIg Druid, 5 out of which I got Oakheart in my opening hand and won shortly after dropping him. ramping was easy, Biology Project never backfired. The only time I didn't get him I lost, and that was against a Pogo Rogue with perfect answers.
played against a guy yesterday who had that deck, beat him pretty easy with a crap rogue deck i put together at rank 20, it was in wild though, don't know if that matters
So wait you're saying that in this NEW expansion there's an insanely powerful druid deck that basically just revolves around "playing a bigger man" every turn and it can only be defeated by gimmick decks that lose to pretty much anything else?
My 9 drop beats his 9 drop. Game is over by turn 6. The opponent spent 2 more turns finding the bottom right
It's just hilarious that you play your "midgame" lich king, play your endgame win condition and win/lose the game all in almost half the time it takes for normal classes to even reach 10 mana

I'd advise against it. If anything Oakheart might get a nerf, which would render the deck probably useless and you would have wasted a lot of dust on a bunch of epics and legendaries that fit into very few other decks.
It's also not that much fun, it mostly feels really dirty. You basically just wait out the mulligan phase and if you get Oakheart you're just like "hey I won, neat". It's probably the closest thing to autoplay I've ever seen.

Sounds about right.

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
as if u can put out the oakheart combo in every game... play more games with it and u will know
that's not the point. the point is we have an already powerful deck, that potentially JUST WINS THE GAME by playing a single card. And it does that around turn 3-5. And there is no counter.
This is Yogg all over, except Yogg could actually backfire.

druid's class identity is bad card design

While we're on the topic of druid balanced-ness, I want to share a typical mirror match I just had :)

Already made a thread about it lol, it was ridiculous. I'm kinda ok with it though, my draws were good as well and the whole thing was amusing.

I was never fond of decks like Big Priest in the first place, so to see Druid get something like this is stupid. This needs to be addressed ASAP
