....... Stop with this hypocritical BS and let Jade Druid alone.
It's not that we won't let Jade Druid alone. It's that Jade Druid won't leave us alone.
I personally don't like to see nerfs as well. One of my friend is driven out of the game because of the Grim Patron deck nerf and he simply couldn't recoup from the resource lost in the nerf. But to be honest here, they really fucked up on Druid in this expansion. From card game design perspective, one OP card won't be a problem. It is a combination of cards, reaching a certain critical mass, that causes a deck to become out of control. They have given too much to druid, way more than other classes can deal with.
I don't think a hasty nerf would be healthy to the game, since the new expansion is just live for like 2-3 weeks. But they really need to take a serious look into the whole thing and make changes based on careful consideration.

Stop with this hypocritical BS and let Jade Druid alone.
It is clear some cards are broken and unfair like UI and Innervate.
Why "hypocritical"? The game have 9 classes, how many druids you see in ladder and how many hunters/warlocks? Here druid is more frequent than rogue/hunter/warlock combined, signal of something is wrong.
But just for know, you think 1 card draw 5 cards, give 5 damage, gain 5 armor and summon a 5/5 is ok what a card need to do for you agree is broken and need nerf?
Something like 1 mana spell always come in your first hand and say "Win the game"?
We discussed this when it was announced, a 10-mana card needs to be VERY impactful or else it's completely unplayable. There is no in-between.
Not a fan of Jade Druid but UI is not the issue in my opinion, it's Jades themselves.
IMHO, the issue that needs to be addressed is ramp. Take away the ramp, and Jade would still be a powerful deck, but it would play "fair" with other decks.
UI by itself isn't a massive problem, because as you said ... a 10 mana card needs to be big. But when that card can be played on turn 5 or 6 ... THAT'S a problem.
Jade Behemoth is a big problem ... but AGAIN, only because its a 6 mana card that usually plays on turn 3 or 4.
Leave Innervate alone, but nerf out all mana crystal gains, and Druid would probably still be tier 1, but wouldn't dominate like it does now.

Ramp druid exist from a goddamn time, but before it was just wrecked.all the hate i see is coming from huntards and pirates that cant do a crap anymore with face face face me go face. I swear I wish you people would stop complaining and crying about deck types. I don't really put loads of money in this game and I can't keep playing if everything I try out gets nerfed to the point that you can't use it. It's like this community wants you to play how they demand not how you want. How can you be okay with literally every other deck being played right now and not Jade Druid. Stop with this hypocritical BS and let Jade Druid alone.
Hm, I don't know ... I've seen better trolls on here. :/
all you need is to look on the front page here and realize the problem. if you can't see it, and Blizzard is too slow to react, you'll all be enjoying your Druid vs Druid matches until the very last person with a brain abandons the game.
And no, statistically, Paladin the counter has been losing ground, now that Jade isolated its only competition. it's just gonna be token vs jade soon.
also, no, Druid used to ramp just fine and die to aggro. the problem is Ultimate Infestation. never before have I seen Druid have the balls to run basically every ramp card and use Nourish almost exclusively for crystals. Ultimate Infestation has destroyed the need for resource management ; now all it takes for Druid is to vomit their entire hand of ramp into the game and cast a 10 mana refill that also takes over the board and aggressively starts taking over the game. sureSpreading Plague (eliminates token decks), Earthen Scales (eliminates burn decks) and Innervate need work done on them too, but UI has changed the way Druid's play.
play your Jades while you can. soon, easy mode is going away, then you can stay in rank20 till the next overpowered mess gets released into the game.
Although I personally don't care, people complain about jade druid in particular because it reached probably one if not the highest win rate in hearthstone history. I played it myself just to grind quickly and went 20-1. So yes people have the right to be mad when a deck is outrageously strong
55% is highest winrate? :D Even midrange-murloc-pally has 57% right now
Innervate - 516 times cast in the past 5 minutes, really? Oh look, with a close second of Wrath, 400 times?
You know what. The cards are not the problem. The players are the problem. The designers should really reprogram the players to stop repeating the same actions again and again to gain satisfaction like they are mast*****ting over and over.
It should be nerfed to the ground. It is a skilless braindead extremely op deck deck that can help even worst players reach legend. Tell me how the hell is it balanced when It can ramp up and easily outdraw a handlock deck 10 cards over, while also keeping some tempo? Seriously all of you who are playing it are simply lame disgusting cheaters. A cheat that will be nerfed soon.
I agree, Druid is completely underpowered and severely needs a buff. I suggest giving them:
-3 mana hard removal. You can say that it's not strictly better than Mulch because mulch is more likely to make your opponent discard a card, as it puts one card in their hand.
-5 mana flamestrike effect(that also damages face of course). Likewise, you can just say it's not strictly better than FS because it gives you less medivh value.
Also, nerf every other class. Because why not? 40% druids on legend rankings is way too low.
The reason people don't like jade druid is because it's not only boring to play against, but it completely crushes control decks, promoting an aggro meta. The same went for quest rogue before it got nerfed.
It has a brainless autopilot win condition which requires little or no skill, and now thanks to the new expansion it has all the answers it needs to the problems it had in the past.
There's already little to no creativity in deck building in this game, but when you have decks like jade druid dominating the meta, it makes the problem even worse.
The fact is if you want Blizzard to stop balancing the game and to let your OP tier one decks to survive, players are going to leave the game by the millions. In fact I'd already go as far as to say the vast majority of players feel Blizzard doesn't do enough to balance the game, which is why so many veterans have moved on to other games.
1. Fun is subjective, stop trying to take a moral highground. 'People' who complain on these forums find ALL types of decks boring, the only difference is that since its subjective the folks who are having fun currently are the ones who are actually playing the game as opposed to sitting on forums whining about it.
2. Every deck has been blamed as an 'autopilot' deck so this is entirely a waste of time trying to argue.
3. You do realize that Jade Druid has been out since Mean Streets of Gadgetzan and to qoute Brian Kibler... "I just made a new deck that I hadn't ever played before" and that was about... 1-2 weeks before Knights of the Frozen Throne came out. You dare to make a claim that 'Oh this is so bad, the new expansion has been out for a bit over 2 weeks now and folks are actually trying to rank up on the ladder'...? Not quite...
4. This is only partially true; the first part is true, the other one is not. Folks move to other games because they don't like the old ones or find newer games they like more. If you wish to make a statement of 'how many' veterans have moved to other games and they having this reason... I am sure it will be able to compete with the litterally 50+ million users that play Hearthstone.
Point is: you want to make such an impressive claim like this? Prove it rather than pulling it out of yer' ass.
To be honest, you just made a VERY compelling point for why it should be nerfed ... a deck that has dominated through multiple expansions probably needs to be put to bed. Pirate Warrior (a deck I play, by the way), probably falls under the same tent. I think with a new expansion there should be new deck ideas ... something to keep the game fresh, not just rehashing and turbo boosting old decks.
Dominated what? Last time I checked Quest Rogue was beating the shit out of it. Oh wait...
Ah yes. How will you ever be able to afford to play new archetypes in Hearthstone if people are begging Blizzard to nerf a deck that is almost a year old. Give me a break dude.
while i understand where you're coming from (Hey i'm f2p and the first year of Hearthstone was awuflly hard ), you also have to understand where we're coming from, we finally had a 18 decks meta during un'goro and Kft promised even more diversity...but Jade Idol is killing all non-aggro decks that were supposed to be viable during this expansion and has reached the highest winrate any deck has had in hearthstone's history...it's even more opressive that undertaker hunter was (and that was hell of an opressive deck), personally i think that for players like you, struggling with dust , they could just rotate Jade Idol to Wild, and leave UI and spreading plague as they are, that way you can play Jade in Wild which is not as problematic there and let standard have a healthy meta.
btw things get better, i'm still f2p and feel free to have a look at my collection.
I personally don't like to see nerfs as well. One of my friend is driven out of the game because of the Grim Patron deck nerf and he simply couldn't recoup from the resource lost in the nerf.
Wait, what?! what resource loss?? they only nerfed warsong commander.....a basic card...and Patron was/is one of the cheapest decks of all times, and after the nerf to the Patorn Otk people came up with a mid-range Patron list that was even cheaper and got to T1 during the secret Paladin era because it countered secret Paladin.
Then look at tge VS report. There is a thread about it, you can clearly see jade druid fucked the meta. You can shove your claims to your ass, even blizzard said they have bern "monitoring" druid for fucks sake people like you gave me all kinds of salt
Two things:
1. The VS report does not quantify a honest representation of the entire ladder in regards to how they portray decks. It shows popularity and can show from rank 15 to legend.
The thing is this... at higher ranks you'll encounter the meta. When you encounter the meta, you try to counter it. Folks love whining about things but rarely sit down and say 'How do I solve this?'; tech cards is the answer to how you deal with higher ranking decks and at that point we enter a very, VERY dangerous world of when you talk about balance.
What is balance? When a deck is dominating? How do we define dominating? Do we define it by popularity, because if that's the case then we have another problem... popular decks doesn't equate to powerful decks - they usually have something to do with each other but rarely are the cause-and-causation.
VS report only measures 'competitive' players if we were to call folks that because... the majority of the playerbase still play around rank 25-20. Once you start counting higher ranks, you have to count deck effiency and that's COMPLETELY devoid in all of these statistics.
Or would you like to actually showcase to me where the VS report showcase individual card's winratio?
Furthermore they count 'tiers'... the problem with this is that there's something called the 'tier list paradox'; it has a few different names but the point is this: if you can make a deck that loses to everything but wins against the most popular/tier 1 deck, then you have a deck that's supposedly stronger than tier 1 but fails in every other regard meaning its a bottom-tier deck. The only time when a tier list is useful is when you analyze effiency, especially in fighter games but that's far too much to explain here.
2. Yes Blizzard states that they are monitoring the card and have been doing that since MSoG. Whether you wish to believe it in your enclosed mind of your own, they know what they are doing. How can I make this claim?
Its been 2 expansions ago when Jade Golem-cards were introduced! They have seen how powerful and how weak the cards are and have given AMPLE oppertunities for folks to use tech cards to beat 'em.
They stated that they are monitoring DRUID now because they are popular in all 3 archetypes; aggro, midrange and control (as combo decks doesn't really exist in Hearthstone (no, exodia Mage is not a combo deck)). However in regards to the Jade Druid... if there would've been a problem with that, that would've changed at the launch or just before the release of Knights of the Frozen Throne.
The point is... even Blizzard agrees with this statement: Jade Druid is fine but Druid as a whole needs to be monitoring to see how powerful they are, or if even oppressive.
So please... if you find logic and sound minds to be salt inducing... I recommend you add me to your ignore list here on Hearthpwn because I hate memes and loves logic and sound thinking. So yah'... not healthy to read anything I say if sound logic makes you somehow mad.
No your logic didn't make me salty, there is some people who just replays with "LEL L2P" and i thought you were one of them. So i know that's not true i can respond differently 1 I think most of the people misjudges something with HS. It can't be judged like e-sport. Any card game can't be an e-sport but people thinks hs is some kind of it. I think that's where all of our problems start. When Naxx was out and undertaker hunter was best deck out there HS community changed it's "way of thinking". People started to judge decks by it's winrate. Now this is the MOST TERRIBLE thing HS ever faced. Because HS didn't mean to be a competetive game at start. It was just the gimmicky game that means to entertain the WoW community. But with first exp. People started to play this game by a competetive means and Blizzard's hs team saw that. And that is the start of " countet the winrate! " meta. It started in Naxx and it is still there.
And this changed the community's and Blizzard's card philsophy. For example Purify. When that card is first came out people were raging because it can't be used in any of ranked game. Ben Brode tried to say that that card is not meant to be competetive but a fun card that you will "have fun" in certain decks. But that idea sucked as we can see, and Blizzard started to make more "power house" cards. Because they understand that most of the community enjoys crushing their opponent's and they can make money WAY to easier. I think that's was the concept of MSoG. They printed a couple of powerfull cards and that's it. That way decks like Pirate Warrior Jade druid becomes dominant in the meta, Blizz knows that people likes winning so they will buy packs to make a good deck. And for blizz's suprise there was an uproar in the community. People started to leaving the game, HS had the lowest player base in MSoG meta so they knew that they have to change that. And Golden days of Ungoro was born. Like there was a deck that was "cancer" (quest rogue) but it's WR was low, it was not just "feel good to play against" and it got nerfed in the and. And we had really golden days of HS has ever seen. There was 18 viable decks and expect for warlock, every class have 2 tier1-2 decks according to every site and Reddit so people started to play game again. But there was a problem for blizz, they didn't make that kind of money like every exp. before. In other exp. you need to buy at least 200 packs to have good colection to win games, but with Ungoro you can just main one class and play the ranked mode with no problems of counter ing other decks. Secret mage for example, i didn't even crafted the eater of secrets, even it was a tier one deck, i just draw my heals (jinyu, kalimos) and wait for their "burn" or Alex turn. But with Jade druid you don't even have a chance to win with or without Geist. There is just 2 decks i knew can win jade murloc pala and big priest. And you know what? Both decks are VERY EXPENSIVE. Most of the players don't want to craft a one deck to beat another deck, they want to do it- or at least being viable at wininng- with most of the decks! For me it's fine to see murloc pala, devolve+lightning storm, dragonfire potion compelety recks their board so that's fine. But it's not fine for the game. Blizzard will print more "power house" cards i know that, they have to make money from somewhere i understand that but that's not healthy for any card game. Diversty always good for this game we saw it. Problem with jade druid lies here, it's changing meta by itself that's not healthy. Q-rogue didn't have that impact that was why we have the moat diversty we ever seen in Ungoro
I need to star naming the basic and classic Druid cards that are just too bad for see play? cause they have not just bad design but also not fix into the class? Take that in mind before argument that innervate, wrath, giant grow and swipe deserved a nerf. The only reason for this cards being spawn is because Druid have not other tool that let them win the game, and you know people usually play cards that let them win the game...
Both Druid decks sadly aggro druid, the most efficient aggro deck for ladder, and jade druid deserved a nerf. Only Jade druid will be rotate to wild, so aggro druid is still a problem for the next year if Spreading Plague dont get a nerf. This card alone is a big problem no just vs aggro but control, most of the times Druid can play UI and dont lose the board cause we cant even play more minions for spreading plague opressive effect. If we cant out number Druid board when they waste all his mana in refill his hand (and gain some armor) how win?
This is even more paintful for control deck, aggro player will just concede against a 25 life board of taunts but control deck are supposed to win the long game. A card that makes you lose the contol of the trades JUST because you play minions that you SHOULD PLAY is stupid, Druid isnt a control class they not need such defensive tool, if you play UI so early there is a risk: die on board. Druids should take that risk and try to win, not being rewarded and recover all the control of the game for 5 mana.
Not our fault you decided to craft a clearly busted archetype.
If anything you should have seen this coming, it was already a problematic in un'goro but now all the new tools (UI & Spreading Plague) make it too strong in every regard.
