No one is running Skulking Geist because it turns out the main problems with JadeDruid are just the Jades themselves, and we were all kinda stupid for blaming Jade Idol in particular (myself included).
Wrong
hes not wrong Skulking Geist is a bad card people are not going to run one card to counter one specific deck and then youre not certain to win against jades
Skulking Geist deals with Jade Idol. If your deck only works because of one card, why is it unfair that card can counter your deck? Aside from that: Jade Druid wins often enough even if the enemy play Skulking Geist
People saying that Skulking Geist doesn't matter, are obviously wrong. Of course it matters that the jade druid doesn't have Jade Idol anymore, it means for both priests and warlocks for instance that they can actually outvalue the druid, which is completely impossible otherwise.
Does it make you autowin against druids? Of course not, but it improves the odds of winning by quite a bit, depending on how your deck is built. If the druid draws well, then it doesn't really matter though. Ramp into Ultimate Infestation is generally too much pressure.
To the question; "How should you play as the druid when someone played skulking geist against you?", the answer is you should play for tempo all the way. Winning on value is out of the question with no jade idols.
The Geist is a very controversial Card, mostly it does nothing, but in the right Hands for example priest, it can kill you, but there is one thing most druids don´t get. The Highlander priest is not even battling you. He is fighting his own deck. If i get kazarkus, DK and Geist in the first 10 cards, i probably win the game with ease, but mostly these cards are the last 5 bottomcards.

You must not play much if you really think people aren't playing that card.
Skulking Geist is a bad tempo play. Continue playing your biggest card every turn and enjoy facerolling them unless they get a perfect hand and you get zero ramp. Seriously, dude: trolling?
Most of the guys here probably correct that Skulking Geist doesn't deal with Jade Druid on its own, but combine with Shadowreaper Anduin and the Priest's superior healing and sustain value will give the Priest a chance to gain tempo and out value the Druid (they have to choose the shuffle option EVENTUALLY to not fatigue to death after playing Infestation). Now, whether or not this is dependable to draw both depends on the build and draw RNG. There's also the discussion on which other class can afford to run the Geist and can beat other decks.
Skulking Geist is also good against Evolve and cards that are in wild so this minion is actually quite good against strong little combos that close out the game.

your non-jade idol cards make your jade 8/8.

Skulking Geist actually is pretty good vs Evolve too!

I'd say there are two scenarios:
Nice
I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
