I wonder how many of you are golden druid players when you think fatespinner is good.
I'm not convinced Fatespinner is good, but I was interested in the mechanic of secret choose one deathrattle.
I'm not really excited about most of these cards for Druid, tbh. They're all very same-y, or just meh-worthy. There's nothing to get enthusiastic about. Ultimate Infestation is kinda interesting, but I'm not sure how much it will actually change anything. Malfurion the Pestilent is probably the most boring DK. Druid has always been my favorite class, but it looks totally uninteresting right now, and honestly never recovered from when they pulled the rug out from under Ramp and Combo. Since then it has jumped on the aggro bandwagon and been milking the boring Jade absurdity, probably because Blizzard has no idea what to do with Druid.
We'll see how the class is once we get to play with the cards. I think the class will still be strong because of token druid, however I would not bet against someone managing to create a new druid deck because new decks always come out of expansions. Druid of the swarm could actually be a surprise package because with poisonous it would be able to destroy bigger minions while with the 1/5 and taunt it is more of a defensive option in the early game. I really like spreading plague because if you manage to combine the walls with a buff card such as mark of the lotus, your opponent may not even be able to break through especially if they are playing nothing but a bunch of cheap aggro minions, and if spreading plague produces enough sticky taunt walls, you may be able to hit your opponent on the following turn with a savage roar.
I actually think that most of the druid cards are catered towards creating a control archetype, we will have to see how the meta plays out but I am optimistic. It will be interesting to see how the meta develops.
I just wanted Druid to get some half decent removal this expansion but instead we got some easily dealt with spiders. Brode said during the stream that they play tested the Webweave card at 4 mana and it was insanely good. I'm trying to figure out how. At 4 mana it might be playable but at 5 it's just too damn expensive. That said Malfurion the Pestilent, as boring as he is, does give the druid class some interesting late game potential and I have some ideas for building A deck around him. What would have been really nice is a choose one minion that discovers a "Choose one Minion" or a "Choose one Spell." That's what the druid needs is more flexibility.
This isn't even the first time they've used Scarabs. When Malfurion the Pestilent was revealed, at first I thought it was spawning the ones that Obsidian Destroyer was lmao.
I see what you mean but Ultimate InfestationFatespinnerSpreading Plague, are pretty unique cards. The only card that does 4 things, a choose your deathrattle card, and a card that can repeat summoning minions.
I definitely think druid is the new cancer class of this expantion because Ultimate infestation makes jade druid even better and skulking geist will be used as a cop-out for why they arent nerfing jade idol
Druid has 3 viable archetypes that wont be going away anytime soon.
I dont see why they would try to push a 4th instead of reinforcing at least 2 of the existing ones until next rotation.
nope, theys hould push the new archetypes now, because Jade will be rotating next april, so nstead of leaving druid with half a limb in the next rotation they should give him tools to be playable during standard 2018.

Ramp isnt going anywhere, they should do this next expac as the 5+ attack archetype they tried didnt work.
