Recently sniped a Malygos out of a random pack and figured I needed to make a super annoying deck to exploit him!
You'll notice a few ancient watchers in the deck and they are actually an INCREDIBLE druid card. I included 3 silences, 3 marks and 2 "taunt-buffers". Try to play the ancient watcher as soon as possible then do something to it to make it awesome.
The goal of the deck is to slowly chip away at your opponents health while keeping your own as high as possible. Delay the game until you can drop down Malygos + 2 x Moonfire in one turn for 12 damage! I threw Leeroy in there just because I had him and a Leeroy + swipe combo is a pretty nice 10 damage to the face of your opponent!
Anyways, if you have a Malygos give this a try and let me know how it worked for you!
I have all the cards except for Leeroy, what would be a decent replacement for him?
Hmm you could replace him with literally anything. The reason I put him in there was for the 8 mana turn of leeroy plus swipe since it has amazing synergy.
You could put a Wolfrider and save him for later in the game and buff him with Mark of Nature for an instant 7 damage. Not quite as hard hitting as the leero/swipe but decent. Or you could throw in another taunter like senjin shielmasta to help you delay the game.
I feel this deck needs some more card draw. Been trying it out in master 3* and it feels abit lacking in the fact that you need an insane amount of card draw to get all the small combos to work that are inside this deck.
You are probably not wrong but you also have to consider it is a druid deck and druids more then any other class have the flexibility to wait around for cards. Mostly because they can stack armor or delay the game using taunts and such. You could probably sub out a few cards for card draw its totally up to you, modify decks for your own liking don't just play stuff at face value!
Looking at the deck I would say lose one swipe and the shield bearer insert whatever card draw cards you want.
I would take Acolyte of Pain instead of the engeneer, in a worst case Szenario you can beat him up by yourself with moonfire.

Good thing about this deck is there is a lot of ways to win and a lot of ways to "stay in the game". You are at the mercy of the card RNG gods as to how the game will go but thats the same for every deck and every class.
I also use Acolyte of Pain in my version. You should try Healing Touch it's a really good way of earning turns. But overall this deck can do very well IMO but i did leave the Ancient Watchers out, just because i dont feel they are needed.
Acolyte is a good one I might consider trying that. I also agree the ancient watchers aren't needed but they become very cost efficient if you can silence them or make them into a taunt. Your opponent will have to use a lot of spells and minions to deal with a card that cost you practically nothing which gives you a huge advantage especially in late game when they have run out of cards to deal with your bigger, badder dudes like Malygos .
I see decks like this all the time with lots of 1x of things rather than 2x of most cards. Why? 1x Sunfury Protector and 1x Defender of Argus? Why not 2x Argus? 1x Shieldbearer? 1x Novice Engineer? 1x Ironbreak Owl? Why not 2x of any of these 3 cards?

I see decks like this all the time with lots of 1x of things rather than 2x of most cards. Why? 1x Sunfury Protector and 1x Defender of Argus? Why not 2x Argus? 1x Shieldbearer? 1x Novice Engineer? 1x Ironbreak Owl? Why not 2x of any of these 3 cards?
Usually running one copy means you don't want it to turn up crazy often due to RNG. Having maybe one card like that in a deck is fine; in this situation, it seems excessive. This deck will probably play very inconsistently.

Well if you read and understand the deck it revolves around the ancient watchers. Sunfury protector and argus both due essentially the same tging just at different costs so you could consider them the same. They both are there to buff the ancient watcher to make it usefull. The ironbeak owl is there as an extra silence on top of the two keepers of the grove. Again there to provide a way to activate the ancient keeper. One novice engineer iw just there to grab extra cards since the card draw in this deck isnt great.
Yeah but why not have 2 Argus since they are vastly superior to Sunfury Protectors for 1 more mana? Card draw is so bad, then why 1 engineer? Why not drop the shieldbearer? If he wasnt a legend Nat Pagel would be a comprimise for both cards :)

Reason for sunfury is for the super early game where you can have a taunted ancient watcher on like turn three or something plus the sunfury. Really tough for your opponent to get past that early on. Idea of the deck is to make the game last long enough for you to get malygos in play. More taunts and annoying stuff you put up the longer it lasts and better chance to drop down Maly + moonfire, swipe etc.
the cars draw is bad but you are a druid so its not the end of the world. Just keep dropping taunts and armoring up until some cards you like appear in your hand :)

I like maly he is a beast in spell heavy deck.
I hate maly druid with a passion. 10 dmg starfall into 6 dmg moonfire makes me cry myself to sleep. T.T

if the druid plays right he should save both his Moonfires and just unleash him as soon as he drops Maly :D Thats even worse IMO!
