Cool list, I have to try it as I opened a Malygos recently (and became a bit bored with Warlock btw) ! ^_^;
How does the deck runs in the current ladder ? Are 9-Mana Malygos and 2 Moonfire better/faster than the usual double Force of NatureSavage Roar combo for the same slots (incl. Gadgetzan) ?
I understand Malygos doesn't care of opposing taunts, still The Black Knight and our Silences are there to take care of those pesky taunts...
The benefit of running Malygos over the Combo(s) is that it gives you WAY more options. Have you ever dreamed of using a Swipe that dealt 9/5 damage? How about a Wrathfor 8/5 damage? If your opponent leaves Malygosalive for a turn he's dead. Plain and simple. The power of Malygos has many possibilities, while the Combo is fairly handcuffed. A Goldshire Footman could disrupt your Combo, while Malygos does not care for such feeble card mechanics.
This deck draws much more than your average Druid list because of Gadgetzan Auctioneer so you are bound to draw into answers. As I mention in my write-up, you often times will win without even needing to play Malygos, but if you do end up getting value out of 6 damage Moonfire s, you're well off in that match.
This deck does not rely on Malygos to win. Also,Malygos is far more dangerous to be left alive than Yseraespecially when you're a Druid. [card]Innervate[/card] can allow you to play a Wrathor aSwipethe same turn you playMalygos. Moonfirecan be played the same turn you playMalygos. I must assure you, this deck is more than effective on ladder. It got me from rank 12 to rank 3 on ladder last season. Read my write-up on why it was so effective in this meta.
I think that Malygos seems weaker than the FoN + Roar combo against everything but priest. You run so few other legit threats to fit him in and he doesn't burst has hard as FoN can. He also can't just random solve problem before turn 9 most of the time. Its a cool idea, and when you get to steal wins its infinitely more fun than FoN, but its just way higher variance.
Also putting up a screen cap, or video of you getting a perfect draw doesn't really do it for me. Your match descriptions seem suspect at best. I know first hand that miracle can beat taunts, they can beat a fair number of them even, and with how slow and how long it takes you to start setting them up it seems very unlikely you can get enough of them out before turn 7 or so when they kill you if you have also kept cards to deal with early aggression from SI:7 agents and the like. A druid deck having a bad match up against control warrior is actually shocking, because most of the time that is one of the decks you just don't want to see as control warrior, you don't have enough removal to kill all their big guys without taking too much damage to lose to the combo. You also talk nothing about Shockadin, Shaman, any mage varieties, or the druid mirror. I'm not saying you didn't do some work with this deck but I'm not 100% sure its actually a great meta decision.

Hi user, appreciate the feedback. Any taunt based Druid deck is going to have a tough matchup against Miracle Rogue. There's not much you can do but hope they haven't drawn into Sap yet. "A druid deck having a bad match up against control warrior is actually shocking". Again, a taunt based Druid deck that doesn't run early threats like Harvest Golem and Sunfury Protector to damage Armor is going to get Shield Shield Slam 'd hard. Execute is Execute. To counter Warriors and Handlocks, I've actually removed Starfall for a second Big Game Hunter, however it obviously depends on the current meta. Innervate into Starfall against Zoo wins games, so if I'm facing a lot of Zoo I'll leave it in. If you can bait out removal against Warrior before playing Malygos, you win the game. Clearly, I still need to add some meat to the match up guides and add more decks.
Hey, Mezume! It's great to be able to bounce ideas off each other to better our decks. Ragnaros is a great idea since you get use out of it's battlecry and it baits out removal for Malygos. I'll have to try it out. Starfall has always been iffy for me, but it always seems to pay off against aggro. As of late, however, I've switched it out for a second BGH to clinch games against Handlock and control Warriors.
The images are showing fine for me. You did it right. Hearthpwn just gets weird sometimes.
Well, if you want to start using Excel, here's how I set it up:
If you look to the bottom left, you'll see I have pages setup with different dates. That way I can keep track of how I do with the deck every day, and can look back to compare my win rate against certain decks when I queue into my opponent.

Here is a Druid deck that I've used for a few weeks that uses Ragnaros:
One of the most consistent decks I've played so far.

Quality post! Do you use Excel like I do, to keep track of wins and losses against classes and decks?
