So I was having a look at the nerfs and wondering what Druid might now look like with half (ok I joke) of it's cards from classic are now gone. Ancient of Lore probably being the biggest hit, with Keeper of the Grove coming in a close second.
It lets us reset and see where the deck might be without the cards and then build from there rather than just removing and replacing when the time comes. Also starts discussion. Even not considering the WoG expansion why not speculate? I'm not very familiar with the new cards, so instead of being a douche; you could suggest some of the new WoG cards?
What were you hoping to achieve with your comment?
You bring up some good points, the iteration I have atm is trying to fight with the current meta, but if the meta does end up slowing down after WoG is released, then some of these inclusions wouldn't be all that bad!
When all is said and done with WoG, I think the meta-gameplay will slow down a lot, especially in the beginning. Most of the time the 'deal 2 damage' would be used on an aggressive/ low-cost minion that the 2 damage would kill, leaving you a 2/4 body to trade again sometimes 2 more times making it super value trading 3 for 1. But if there is no aggro and very few small minions then the silence effest on a 4 mana 2/2 is not very good at all and you might as well use Spellbreaker as you get 3 more stats for the same amount of mana... IMO
Does Druid need lube ? I can't believe they left mage unscathed. And what have they given us so far? More goddammit wisps. Hopefully they will have another card with card draw. On the bright side maybe cthun druid will be a thing
What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
This seems feasible! Well I haven't really gone over the WoG cards, but it seems Blizzard are highly pushing a Druid C'Thun deck. So Druid go from burst damage, to burst damage....hmm. Not exactly what I was expecting

Since you won't necessarily get all of your C'buffing cards out by turn 2, I feel it should be more... controlly? I dunno; Me no durid well. Durid r 4 fite right?
I like this a lot - but it has no draw at all. except Chromaggus. That might be enough, if he copies something really good. Could Ancient Harbinger be good enough? Drop an Druid of the Claw then this on turn 6 to hunt for C'Thun?

Good to hear you like it :) I agree it's very little draw without AoL and cycling Wild Growth with Chromaggus on board doesn't happen often enough to counterbalance that I'm afraid....I also thought about including Ancient Harbinger, but with onlyone 10-mana minion I think it's probably not worth, would be better in an Astral Communion deck running N'Zoth and Y'Shaarj ;)

*Note: the deck doesn't yet contain any WoG cards yet.
Tell me what you think and what/where the druid class will go in light of these nerfs??
Your deck looks really good, except I don't understand the emperor. Emperor was mainly run because it made you combo cheaper. There is nothing really in this deck that you need him to discount. I think if you removed him and put in a nourish it wold be pretty solid.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I I know you aren't putting in dog cards yet, but 2x mire keeper over the savage.
If aggro won't be that popular, then I hope, Astral Druid will be good :)
Though, theorycrafting is pretty useless until seeing all reveals.
That deck will never be good.
A deck that revolves around you acquiring ONE CARD in your deck and then play it getting a major downside will never be playable. Just like shadowform priest for the exact same reasons.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.

The deck rating does in no way reflect anything about the deck...just a bunch of ppl wanting to get back at me for vote fishing :P

OK, so far, EXCLUDINGALL the C'thun cards because that's a whole different deck archetype to the simple "ramp" druid deck.
I have come up with a few possible inclusions from WoG that we have so far, again this deck will change once the patch is live and the rest of the expansion is released.
WoG Cards(C'thun decks are whole different archetype) :
Maybe a bit greedy hehe and definitely need some more Deathrattles, but let's hope we get to see some more of those in a couple hours ;)
Will probably be better as an Astral Communion deck, but we need some more high-cost deathrattle minions for N'Zoth then so I can remove those raptors :P

Pointless posting a post nerf deck with none of the new cards? What are you hoping to achieve with this?
I will still run at least one Keeper, since his flexibility is very valuable. The 2/4 body was nice, but not the main point of the card.
I suggest playing klaxxi because of the mind games you can play with people vs chillwind

One Keeper of the Grove could be a nice addition, the 2 damage is still good vs aggro and the silence as a tool is nice to have.

Well at least the combo will cost 10 now and rely on you drawing that 1 legendary in your deck ;)
Also not certain it will reach 14 atk by T10 so might require more time as well as luck drawing it.
Could be a good idea to trade Chromaggus and one of the keepers for Brann and ET...not sure if they're worth including or not.
