Guess the devs wanted us to have dust to craft all these new cards since every druid nerf is nothing more than dust now.. So is arcane golem. Welcome to the new control/30 minutes for 1 game meta. Ima just go play pokemon.
Thx to all brainless moaners for ruining my favoite class. For 4 expansions NOBOBY cares about Druid and his combo. All cards were well balanced. But after LoA realised everybody suddenly loses their mind. I fucking hate you all. Stupid unadapted to ladder idiots. In WooG I will play only aggro decks, I will smash your astonished faces at6mana and then will be laughing hard after your loose. Prepare your anus girls.
Hahahaha ditto. This is exactly how I feel. Great way to peek into my soul.
Ditto as well. I fought long and hard, but there was no reasoning with many in the general forums. Ancient of Lore....some of the best art in the game, sad to have disenchant it now that it is so poor in value.
Besides these nerfs, something really scares me. What is druid going to do for removal? The 2 Keepers assisted well with that as well as being anti aggro, and BGH gave Druid conditional hard removal that didn't put you at a bad disadvantage. Am I supposed to run 2 naturalize now...I've tried that many times...it doesn't work well at all. Mulch....I really don't want to craft, since it will be rotated out next year. Plus I haven't heard good things about it. Recycle? A much worse entomb, I worked with this card for many months...it is just to costly. Removal has always been a weakness of the class but now with all the silence nerfs including keeper, and BGH...I feel it could be something that cripples it.
Druids need a completely new deck build now, they didnt just lose the combo, but also a few key cards like shade, shredder, boom. Without all those emperor seemed pointless as well so he might get replaced as well by sylvanas or sth.
Ancient of Lore - Dead to me. I see no reason to not just use Azure Drake in its' stead now. 2 mana less for -1/-1 and +1 spellpower seems far better to me. Really sucks because as others have said, ramp puts you at a natural card disadvantage, so we needed those draws.
Keeper of the Grove - Again, dead to me. If I want the silence I can just play Spellbreaker for +2/+1 and the same cost. Only way I see myself using this is if agro or zoo becomes super popular and I need the 2 damage, but if that's the case I'd probably prioritize Living Roots over this for more flexibility in dealing with the decks.
Force of Nature - Meh. I don't think it's a bad card, but I can't see myself ever prioritizing it over other 5 drops such as Druid of the Claw and Azure Drake. Maybe in an egg/agro Druid style deck, but it might be too slow for that deck.
Overall I think I'm going to be putting all of my hopes and dreams on C'thun Ramp. I'd love to see Beast Druid become a thing, but I don't think there's enough synergy there yet. I only hope that the AoL nerfs don't screw over ramp.
I was excited to learn about the nerfs because these were the first I experienced for non-basic cards. After seeing them, I was also excited to get all of that dust. I disenchanted everything but one BGH and both Knife Jugglers. I never really played Druid because I didn't have all of the needed cards for a good deck. I'm sure other powerful combo decks will come into play.

Ancient of Lore nerf was TERRRIBLE you don't see them nerfing actual broken cards like Divine Favor or Mysterious Challenger seriously for 1 less mana you get 2 more stat points and it draws and plays 5 cards....... maybe it should give you the choice to heal for 15 or draw 5 cards, then it would be pally balanced?
idk, I'm not sure their line of reasoning is exactly that those cards were, "played in too many decks". Those cards were too good, so players felt the need to always include them. Having cards like that in the game limits diversity in the meta(looking at you Dr. Boom and Shredder).

Divine Favor is only strong if you're playing against a control deck. Cards that punish a particular archetype are good for the game, and definitely not broken. Mysterious Challenger is also not a broken card. The fact that Paladins had great drops on turns 1 through 8 made the deck broken.
Even with Fandral, a 5/5 that heals for 5 and draws a single card is still not worth 7 mana. Ah well, I think Druid will be fine with the new cards... We shall see

I think it was a fair nerf with their new legendary coming out.
