Yeah but those who are so angry about combo, obviously druid is one of their lesser played classes (like only for dailies maybe). So they don't care if it becomes trash. I play all the classes, I don't like freeze mage. Doesn't mean I hawk the mage threads and scream bloody murder about every card in freeze mage decks being OP.
Make innervate "next minion played this turn costs 2 less.". Combo with just one savage roar is not so broken, and getting full combo now would require making quite a big use of Emperor.
frankly i feel the combo needs a nerf, but a minimal reasonable one, for example, Savage Roar costs 4 now. still castable as combo, but takes full 10 mana now, slowing it and making it harder to double roar with emperor coupon.
The best change is to make FoN like Icehowl has charge but can't attack the hero, the card would still be a very nice piece of removal, and the combo problem would be gone. Roar it's not OP
All these kids acting like they know HS so well, and "Combo isn't a problem" blablabla. Well, hate to tell ya but the Devs have QUITE a few stats that say otherwise. Just because in 50% of YOUR games something happens, that doesn't instantly make it 50% of ALL games. There's a reason they waited so long to do this nerf. It's not some knee-jerk reaction, they've planned this for a while and it will be fair, regardless of what you think. And I hate to say it, but this goes out to those few talking garbage about SP. Maybe there are some secret pally decks that require no thought, but there are some other variations that are much more intricate that require a lot more than "stall til turn 6 for Mysterious Challenger and win". It doesn't always pan out like that, and there's a reason why Blizz hasn't batted an eye at the deck because it's not OP by any means.

To everyone saying ther is always a tier 1 deck, thats true. But which deck it is has to change every year under the influence of the standard rotation. This means a classes main archetype should not be the same at all times, and therefore these combos shouldnt exist in the classic/basic set.

Or they can print hard counter like Eater of Secrets that bends over combo decks (like Freeze Mage)...
There's more than one way to completely screw over the classic combo decks, and it doesn't always require nerfing them into the ground.
I think an adequate change without nerfing it to oblivion would be to make savage roar 4 mana and all minions get +2 attack instead of all characters. That would make it so you would no longer be able to do FoN+Roar+Innervate+Roar(w/o Thuarissan) and you'd be surprised how much of a difference 2-4 damage can make in games.
This should have happened 2 years ago
Again...what are non druid players doing in the druid threads? Go back to the general area, vermin.

-let´s negotiate: you concede and I let you live...
I think reducing the cost of force of nature to 5, and making the trees only able to attack minions would be a good change.

I think Savage Roar must not give the treants +2 attack. Make it affect beasts only, like some wise people here suggested.
I like the druid class, aesthetically, but I hate this retarded combo so much.
