Blizzard need to address the DH problem, they did several nerfs and lowered the power level but the class is still broken.
changing the hero power to 2 mana will make the class much more balanced. The 1 mana hero power is a serious issue and provides the class too much flexibility and mana efficiency, its so strong and synergies with many DH cards. this must be changed.
2 mana give hero +2 attack is very strong as well - but it is less flexible and will lower the overall power level.
Other Suggested balance changes:
twin slice (auto include in every deck) : requires outcast to get the second slice.
I already express my opinion about DH in many threads. I came to the conclusion that until further nerfs I'm gonna do my quests in brawl mode, then log out and experiment Legends of Runeterra
Maybe, just maybe you should wait and see? Demon hunter is strong but there also other decks that do just fine so far in this meta, maybe we will get some more nerfs but so far can we just be patient and give them time?
I agree that the 1 mana hero power is too strong, but 2 mana for 2 damage is also too strong. That's basically as good as most baku hero powers, and because most demon hunter minions have 2 hp, it would also make demon hunter the best answer to demon hunter, further encouraging its play.
Blizzard must put the heropower to 2 manas and Lifesteal ! It is more control and the aggro DH is very boring to face.
That's a slightly worse version of the Druid's hero power
No, it's a significantly better version of the Druid hero power and probably still too strong. Think of how it works with attack buffs and weapons. Warglaives of Azzinoth just heals you to full.
Terrible, terrible suggestions. Starting from the 2 mana hero power, unless you plan to COMPLETELY rework the class and BUFF a lot of cards around that. Cards that suddenly become trash because you'd be basically putting a +1 mana cost on them as well - Battlefiend, Satyr Overseer, Furious Felfin, Glaivebound Adept - they'd all basically be playable only comboed with Twin Slice or a pre-equipped weapon.
As for the rest, you're seriously overestimating how easy it is to get Outcast. It's obvious you haven't played DH at all. Your suggestions basically make those cards garbage unless Outcasted. Twin Slice would basically be a worse Moonfire / Backstab and Chaos Strike a MUCH worse Claw. C'mon. Umberwing lol, your suggestion completely kill the card, no one would play a 2 mana 1/2 weapon.
The only nerf that remotely makes sense is the Warglaives one.
Not entirely bad suggestions but I think that the 2 mana +2 attack is slightly overpowered. Like someone else in the comments had said earlier, that's about the same level as Baku hero powers except without needing Baku. My suggestions are as follows:
I think a pretty fair nerf to Twin Slice would be giving it a twinspell function, that way it isn't a free Altruis the Outcast trigger; unless of course it's already most left or most right in your hand.
Umberwing can be tuned up a little to be the same cost and summon only 1 1/1 minion with a second 1/1 available through outcast. Outcast is actually pretty tricky to obtain sometimes and you pretty much have to play the card when it's immediately drawn. So basically this nerf would obtain almost the same amount of value if drawn and played immediately. That way instead of keeping it in hand to begin, people would shuffle it back into their decks unless it's the left most card to start or easily outcast-able in the early turns.
I think that your suggestion for Warglaives of Azzinoth is actually a pretty fair one, I think 4 durability is much too strong for its cost. If they keep the 4 durability then I'd say at least increase the mana by one.
Chaos Strike, in my opinion, doesn't really need to be nerfed much, if at all. The only thing I could see them changing is possibly making it 3 cost but it's really not a huge problem where it's at now.
Changing Priestess of Fury to 8 mana or by nerfing it's health. The way it stands now, it's basically just a better Ragnaros the Firelord. Ragnaros is 8 cost so I can see Priestess of Fury mirroring the cost. It's health is pretty ridiculous though, it takes a Fireball and a mage hero power to kill it the way it is now; or by trading your minions (which you probably won't be able to do since it splits damage among all enemies). Even if they do nerf its cost to 8, I still think that 4-6 health would be much better than 7.
And then lastly, changing Satyr Overseer to 3 attack instead of 4.
Honestly, I still don't think Demon Hunter is as overpowered as everyone says it is. Sure, I think it's a much stronger class right now than most, but it's not the most absolutely OP thing on the planet. I think with the nerfs I suggested, and maybe a few more somewhere else, would put it a little lower on the food chain than where it is now.
Warglaives and priestess are broken. Priestess should be dormant when played or reduce its stats significantly and warglaives should indicate that if it attacks a minion it can't attack a hero. Priestess should have much lower health so it can be killed the next turn easily.
I also think their 0 cost spells should cost 1 mana. I mean some people are even trying to make miracle DH now which is just absurd lol.
They should give Outcast to every demon hunter cards at that point with your suggestions
Lol I was gonna say the same thing. Soon people will say “demon hunters should only be able to play the left or rightmost cards in their hand.”
Well, if this suggestion become a thing don't will chance anything, DH already build the deck with this restrictions, the Outcast cards are so insanely overpowered, unbalanced, broken and busted don't make any sense play in any other way.
Rez priest is just as unfair/unfun and obnoxious to play against as DH really except at least you get a fair run in the sense they can't kill you immediately AND they have hard counters. Imagine if rez priest had no hard counters. It would feel like the most unfun and unfair crap in the world.
If demon hunter have 0 counter, how come there no 100% winrate build so far? Instead of crying on the internet just find a counter or wait for more nerfs if blizz think they need more, it pointless to make a new post every 15 minutes about how dh are op
Not entirely bad suggestions but I think that the 2 mana +2 attack is slightly overpowered. Like someone else in the comments had said earlier, that's better than most Baku hero powers.
How is it better than Baku hero powers? Rogue has a 2/2 weapon. Druid gain 2armor and 2 atk. Mage is kind of the same but they don't take face damage. Hunter deals 3 to face. The game is always be balanced around 2 mana HP. What if one day inspire becomes a thing again?
DH always use it's mana at its fullest thanks to it. And that's an unfair advantage. That combined to the ridiculously op cards they got.

You are assuming a dichotomy of counter and no counter when there are degrees. So there may be a counter deck which is slightly favoured (say galakrond warlock vs tempo DH, which is slightly over 50% for warlock depending how warlock is built) or there may be super hard counters like the old control warrior vs freeze mage which was 90 percent to beat freeze mage. That being said, freeze mage could still a small percentage of the time pull off a win. DH has no hard counters in the sense that there is no deck which beats it say 70%+ of the time. An example of this in the current meta is gala control rogue vs priest or face hunter vs gala warlock.

And Warlock can build an wider variety of archetypes with lots of situational cards because of its hero power.
Demon hunter, at this point, I'm starting to doubt is as OP as people think it is. It's just occupies the niche of "the character that is really good until you get better at the game."
I think we should wait, I kind of hope the meta gets flooded with more Demonhunters because that would make designing a counterdeck pretty easy. It's just so early yet.
Having a slightly OP class is fun because of the ability to counterplay, IMHO.

it's just suggestions to consider. I would like to hear some constructive advice from you.
lets agree that there is a problem and Blizzard should address this oppressive class.

agreed kill this mistake of a class and don't make it relevant again til 2030

DH is in a better spot now. It's not "so OP" anymore. A lot of good archetypes out there which can counter it.
This would make it stronger.
