The fact that in Wild, DH manages to be strong without any Wild card and, worse, without any NEUTRAL card (same in Standard) says a lot about the class.

Except that it isn't. It is complete trash. Maybe it is ok bronze to gold but DH is easy pickings for any of the usual strong wild decks.
If they would replace the card draw/ mana reduction with actual fatigue mechanics (for example 2 mana 4/3, remove the top card of your deck/ or look at the 3 top cards of your deck and remove 1 by choice so you can still play combo cards), I think that would make for a more interesting and unique gameplay. Maybe even room for cards like stronger if there are 10 or less cards left in your deck.
People keep making this same complaint and people keep being bad.
DH does still need some nerfs, but it is easy to run them out of resources if you have any heal or sustain at all.
What are you talking about? No class can consistently out heal/sustain DH.
I wouldn't say none ... rez priest can, but is it worth it?
Rez Priest got farmed in Grandmasters last week and this week by DHs. If people know how to play against it, it is not a good deck. There is also an influx of Rogues that make Rez Priest very bad in the meta.
You have to understand that they created a new class and the option were making it at the same power level as previus expansions and it would have never been competitive in the short term or making the card so good to be reliable and good already.
They choose the second option.
Even tho some càrds need still a bit of adjustment but for example in wild (only mode i play) demon hunter is ok, not too strong not too weak , just a solid aggro/midrange class.
What I would like to see is to give DH at least 10 more cards but also reduce their power level to be on par with other classes. The current problem is that with so few DH cards, they have to make them powerful otherwise the class is DOA. There are also not many builds you can make other than tempo, people have tried highlander but its just inferior to other highlander decks. I would like to see a zoo version that utilises all the 1/1 Illidari and the Wrathscale which don't see much play atm.

If you have any heals at all then you out heal DH. I've been beating them with Highlander Mage just off of randomly generated shit, Kibler's Quest Shaman build, and Galarogue with card generation.
And of course Egg Warrior hardcounters them with like a 55% winrate against them and Rez priest goes even
You have to be good enough at predicting and playing around what they have in their hand to not let yourself get fucked but they are easily defeatable, and if you are having a lot of trouble you can tech in more taunts or something. I've straight fatigued DH in 2 or 3 games out of my last 15 or so, and out-aggroed them in another 3. My winrate vs DH is around 70%.
If you have a strong start, then keep pushing as hard as you can. If you don't, then play super conservatively, force them to burn Meta on something other than your face, dump a pile of stats on the board just before t7 to block the shivarra, etc.
So far, just about every game I've lost to DH has them burning the rest of their hand to barely kill me, or Altruis luck bullshit, hence why I say I do still support some nerfs. But Altruis into 6+ damage is rare and inconsistent. So even the heals off Khartut or one turn of Walking Fountain or an Ice Barrier are generally enough to swing the game in my favor
I think the issue with DH is that outcast isn't as restrictive as Blizzard thought it would be. If you play a slower and more controlling type of deck with big heavy hitter cards that can often clog your hand then it becomes considerably harder to reliably outcast your key cards the turn you need to. But this doesn't balance those effects like Blizzard intended, instead, it's an issue that DH players solve in the deck building process. They build around a bunch of low cost stuff that allows them to easily empty their hand and gain the early game tempo advantage, which then in turn allows them to abuse the outcast effects on spectral sight and skull of gul'dan to cost effectively reload or dig for burn to end the game. This has lead to the cancerous Tempo DH archetype that people hate so much.
Trust me when I say this. Highlander DH is way more fun to play and I'm sure it's more fun to play against too. But it doesn't have the super high win rate of tempo DH so it doesn't get played nearly as often. It's just a shame.
Maybe what we need to do is nerf DH players. You can play DH as it is but you only get a quarter of the stars/legend rank of a normal person OR when you play DH you get to choose your starting hand from your deck. There is no mulligan.

Just stop whining. DH is not a problem in the meta. Yeah its good deck and its all.
are DH on ladder @_@ and watching tournaments DH is always banned it's a waste of time running those HCT tours etc what for? it's completely stupid when you see that banned 95% of the time waste of time competition but hey atleast they can ban the purple elephant in the room when you queue on ladder u can't
when decks arise from TARGETTING specifically DEMON hunters on LADDER THEN u know there's SOMETHING BROKEN ABOUT that class atm
C'mon people, the class doesn't need to be reworked. DH is an aggro class, that is its class identity, and as such it has a ton of aggro tools and a few other tools like lifesteal and silence to help support it. It has three card draw cards which is around the same number as other classes have (some more and some less) so ti doesn't have "too much card draw". If anything needa a nerf it is the Skull of Gul'dan. Change it back to 5 and add outcast to the second effect. That is all. Not every good card needs a nerf.

Suggested changes:
hero power: 2 mana -> gives hero attack + 2
twin slice (auto include in every deck) : 0 mana and twin copy is 1 mana
Umberwing weapon (auto include) : 3 mana 2/2 weapon summon 2 1/1
Chaos Strike (auto include in every DH) - 3 mana -> give 3 attack (and draw card), or 2 mana give 2 (outcast draw a a card)
Warglaives of Azzinoth - 3/3 instead of 3/4
What are you talking about? No class can consistently out heal/sustain DH.

Nothing wrong with joining the dark side : p

Currently Plat 3 btw, if you're curious.

Get gud
the efficiency is absurd which edges out a lot of other classes atm we looking at like nearly 1/3 decks
