DH has such a small card pool that's not hard to find a working combination of cards. Will not be suprised if the winrate drops once people play better tuned decks
It's really a nice feeling to get your board cleared without any effort from the opponent. Simply just drop Priestess of Fury, slash slash slash, your board is gone. Oh, you don't have any minion on the board? Well, 12 damage for you then! Or just drop Imprisoned Antaen and eliminate your tempo for the last two turns with the stupid lasers. Oh after it's awakened, you need to spend your mana and cards to kill it, or get 10 damage in your face next turn. What a load of frustration, and I have not met Coilfang Warlord or Hulking Overfiend.
If players say that defeating DH is simply because we don't know the weakness yet, I would also say that people are not used to play DH too. The learning curve of playing DH is not matured yet. DH deck will be refined and refined.
I have a 100% win rate vs DH with rez priest right now. No game was even close except 1 combo deck almost got me. Literally the easiest hard counter i've played in years.
Okay but your experience at gold 5 isnt really reflective of what's good. I only just started climbing past silver today, and my pure paladin was 100% winrate vs Demon Hunter up until around Plat 5. But that means literally nothing.
After around mid plat, there were far less bad midrange and control attempts at Demon Hunters, and they all start using far better tuned Face decks.
I switched to Face Demon Hunter to climb after that, and currently sitting around around Diamond 7. Rez Priests don't have the tempo to deal with Demon Hunter silence and Maiev.
Battlefiend is the highest statted 1 drop in the game after a single AA. Maiev, Kayn and Consume Magic all bypass large taunts. Skull of Guldan, Antaean, Metamorph and Glaivebound Adept are the highest cost cards you need. Your win condition is cycling till your hand is cheap, and then using either Altruis or Kayn to burst with all of your cheapest spells reduced by Guldan on the turn the Antaean wakes up.
At worst, Antaean kills a big turn 7 drop and you have board control. At best, Antaean deals 10 face damage, and you use Altruis with your abundance of 0-2 mana cycle spells to deal the remaining 15 or so damage that you'd need.
With so many demon cards nowadays, why didn’t the hearthstone team Release an anti tech card against? For example, hungry crab for Murlocs or dragonmaw poacher for dragons? I feel like there should have been a Paladin or priest card to fight off And slay demons (class identity). Paladin lacks card draw and identity, priest feels like it joined the dark side With Galakrond. The prime Card for mage is a demon..Seems like demons and darkness has taken over hearthstone with 80%+ Locks and DH. I get it, it’s the expansion theme but where are the heroes that slay demons? Titans? Good guys?
I played dragon priest yesterday with dragon breath and holy nova, and started with a winstreak vs DH, they played an agressive list.
Once people realized how broken is Skull of Gul'dan they started to give me problems.
Once people realized how broken are the midrange minions that you have to remove 100% and give insane value, they started to win most of the games.
Once people realized that they could draw the entire deck by turn 8 and still have the board, they started to include even zephrys in the deck or ridicule combos with Kael'thas Sunstrider they won me every game
If nothing's nerfed before tonight, I'll uninstall!!!1

Good ol' Hearthpwn nerf thread, less than a day into the expansion.
Maybe Demon Hunter is too good. I'm not saying it isn't.
But maybe people actually need more than 12 hours to properly adapt to a new metagame. Maybe the better decks haven't been all been figured out yet in just one night. Maybe it's due to the circumstance that everyone and their moms focus on Demon Hunter right now, with fewer people even bothering to to play and refine new decks for the other classes. There's a number of possible reasons why Demon Hunter currently looks busted, starting with that we currently can only say what it looks like.
Why does everything need to be addressed as quickly as possible? At least give people a chance to evaluate things properly. You'd think most people have other things to worry about than the game being somewhat imbalanced for maybe a week. Sure it sucks that Team 5's testing department apparently can't get an expansion out without these balance issues anymore, but at least wait a day or two before making these threads and comments.
My Plot twist warlock works pretty well against DH. You heal and control the board until they run out of gas. I found out the biggest issue of DH being op is the constant draw that let's them usualy make a big comeback. Sometimes the control goes to down for their draw and the refilling their board back.
I went 15-0 with Demon Hunter from diamond 5 to legend. That deck is truly OP, but I love it. At legend I did lose 3 games in a row though.
With archetype did you use? Mind sharing your deck list? :)
Got to diamond 5 yesterday and would like to achieve legend legend asap.
Yeah sure, I didn't feel like building a whole deck, so I just used the second deck recipe and swapped the big weapons for something else because I didn't have them and I didn't feel like they're super powerful. Here's the code for the exact list I used: AAECAea5AwTMugPDvAPaxgP5yAMN+a4DurYDi7oDo7sD17sD5rsD4LwDjb0DusYD2cYD98gD/sgD/8gDAA==
I can't wait for Blizzards response. What sorry excuses will they come up with this time? It's always so exciting.
"We're sorry you didn't have the experience you wanted with Hearthstone. But DH isn't as powerful as Undertaker Hunter was back in Naxxramas. Let me tell you more about Undertaker and our journey in designing it."

I am playing with Portal Warlock and it is really good againts DH! Try it guys.
Mirrors are excluded from data. Also, pls no caps, it's rude
Sitting at 59-60% win rate in Arena. Second best is Paladin at 50%. Basically unplayable until they micro-adjust it.
