The Release of The "Graaaand" Tournament is almost here guys. Just a few more days left. What're your final thoughts on the cards revealed?
I personally thought that the cards were alright. Some of them were excellent and will be used often others were a bit disappointing. As far as legendaries go, I think the class legendaries this time outshone the neutral ones, unlike what happened in GvG; although there's lots of potential to be had in cards like Justicar Trueheart.
The classes that kind of got the worser end of it were probably Rogue and Warlock and will either resort to their already existing decks or become quite weak. We might see a comeback by Shaman and I believe Mage will remain to be as strong as it is.
I dunno if you can have final thoughts about something before you try it out. First impression yes, but not sure about final thought. Anyway my thought is still same as my first impression. Seems like they've genuinely tried to slow down the meta and introduce new viable archtypes for the classes such as Beast Druid, Control Hunter and maybe even Pirate Rogue or Aggro-ish Priest.
Joust is basically all RNG unless facing super aggro decks and it felt like a coin toss in the brawl. Inspire seems like a fun mechanic and it was really fun in the brawl. Hopefully it'll work great in the slower meta this expansion aims to create.

Wanted to get people's final thoughts actually trying it out, heh. ^^
It's a good expansion for Warrior, Mage, Druid and Shaman
It's an okay expansion for Priest, Paladin, Hunter (All 3 of them could actually benefit greatly from the expansion or not at all, I am not sure yet)
It's a bad expansion for Warlock and Rogue: Warlock got f*cked way more than Rogue with the class cards but since Warlock has some good decks while Rogue doesn't, we can call Rogue the big loser here. Well maybe someone can figure out something and a Tempo or Controll Rogue is possible after all? I can't see it but I also couldn't see Patron Warrior comming.
I really hope to see at least one good dragon deck and at least one useable Priest deck after the expansion. If Priest is still that bad after the expansion as he is right now (while mage gets another archetype) I would call the expansion a big failure (balance-wise) but I hope not.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
Super hyped, i honestly think that they've nailed it big time with TGT, and the Brawl convinced me that there is so much potential here for some new, legitimately viable, maybe even metashifting deck archetypes. Jousting may be a gimmick, but when you think about it, it actually is a nifty way to try and slow down the current, fast paced meta, while not completely crippling aggro decks.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. They already have quite a few good decks, they'll stick around. ;)
shit..i thought it was going to be the best xpack so far but its dull and too rng
gng was better

You're saying GVG had less RNG or something? :O
Warlock ? You mean the class with at least 3 super strong archetypes that always been in the meta ?
Yeah sure, we won't see any of them after TGT ...
Have you seen what Rogue got ? Far worse.
Priest got almost decent stuff but it's not enough to make it viable. It will never be as strong as Warlock.

Only broken rng cards get played. All the ones in tgt are garbage with the exception of Hunter ones.
Well. Mage has new archetype. Inspired Mage.
man, if im honest:
i have so much fun with the tavern brawl! so hyped, i really like the theme and all the new stuff.
the problem is, such decks will probably not see play in constructed, right?
these inspire and joust mechanics are fun.
Final thoughts: Too many garbage cards, Inspire is too slow and joust is stupid rng 2/10
