Calling it now. Why? I don't really wanna explain in case of netdeckers but those who are pros in hearthstone(legend ranked) and good in deckbuilding can understand its potential.
Will bump this thread when 2 weeks after the release of LoE some guy posts a op netdeck with elise starseeker on hearthpwn and everybody starts copying the netdeck.
Fatigue Warrior definitely will, any deck that empties the deck enough probably will, like control priest and maybe mill rogue/druid. It'll be fun to see. Maybe I'll finally use a pure control deck.
I wana be the first to disagree. I think of it as more of a "change your deck for fun" type deal. If u want all your cards to be legendary. You can legit just change all your cards to legendary if you have enough, if it was "op" the 50 legendary decks (that have been tested) would be running over everything and pay2win people would rule over all. Even if lets say, all the legendaries would be able to get you that win. You need to draw the map which could be anywhere in the deck them draw the monkey that could be anywhere in the deck. its literaly too rng to be played competitivly and so many other elements that can go with this but dont need to be typed. BUT if im wrong i will definatly go and make an entire account dedicated to you and pay to get the netdeck that gets popular and only play that in your honor for a month

The idea that makes this card better than a pure legendary deck is that legendaries tend to be expensive, so early turns in an all-legendary deck generally suck and they lose. This card doesn't change your deck until the late game, when you can play the ones you get, and it gets rid of all the cheaper cards in the deck- sure, control warrior might lose their second Fiery War Axe or a Shield Slam, but slamming a big minion down probably works too.
Isn't part of the point of decks like mill rogue and fatigue warrior that you need your spells and removal to stay alive while you shut down your opponent? You are giving up all utilitiy for the RNG of having sweet legendaries, which I don't see as being viable.

This. Decks are crafted with a purpose. Especially control decks. YOu just can't half way through decide to swap out all that thought for a bunch of random legendaries and expect to be successful.
From inconsistency of draws (you might have no deck left to turn legendary), to slow in general tempo wise to the inconsistency in legend quality (Too many bad legendaries: if you get major domo it's a dead card, lorewalker is meh, you lose all removal, rend will likely do nothing. God help you if you get hemit) mediocre stat line make this card really not worth it. The only good things I can say about this card are that it's fun, has the potential for a funny win with very unfavorable but possible value and the body can trade with shredder on turn 4 when you play it ideally.
I can see this being great in arena, especially if your deck is trash anyways, you get to transform into on average better quality.
.. nope you jsut took the worst card out of this collection and called it useful. you are wasting 1 mana over the process(4+2+4) to get crappy legendaries no thanks..

<"What is wrong with ALL OF YOU?! These priest cards are a JOKE!!!!")
<"I don't get emotional about this game, but it feels like this was on purpose. Fuck Blizzard.")
<"Screw you Blizzard, secret meta? Practically deleting priest? Not even somewhat interested in buying Karazhan")
By the time the combo comes, you have the whole game in front of you to develop your strategies in any way you want. The only thing you do is include one 4 mana minion that does it for you. And when you decide to activate it - if you do - then you're free to go minion-heavy. Plus, you don't necessarily need card synergy. All you need basically is heavy control and staying in the game. More of these are explained in the older thread on the card.
Also I can imagine someone drawing 5 Dr.Booms in a row.

If you look closely, you can see this is a signature and not a comment. Why are you reading? Stop reading this. Did you read this too? Dang you must like reading.
Will a golden Starseeker make all the new cards you get golden?
This guy is asking the real question. Stop the thread right now and someone give me an answer as well.

Control has no use for the word "Random" there was a card everybody called OP before TGT for Control, it was Varyan Wryn. Turned out the efekt is just bad because it kills your win condition.
Starseeker doesnt even bring you the cards in to the game and its verry unlikely to pull this of. If you ever played a beneath the ground you know how rarely and unlikely it is to get all 3 nerubians drawn out of the deck even 2 before the game ends.
Sadly atm. the game isbalanced but on the other hand there is no room for creativity. Aggro and tempo kill you when you dont have the right answers. Starseeker is to slow and RNG based to see play.
However Blizz anounced "drastic" changes and ill hope we get a banning option on certain cards. Only that will bring some live in this game.
For example there will never be a enchantment deck as long as there is silence. Which is just sad.
I agree with some opinions, elise is a very interesting and fun card, it has good body, also the monkey but you can't play around it, playing her it's the same thing of playing a tavern brawl.

Yes because completely ruining your winnning strategy will be a stable gameplay. Not to mention 100% goddraw.

Card is way too slow and ruins any card synergy. Should be fun in arena tho.
OP is too hype
Remember you will have to get at around turn 15-20 to play it. In arena, it is most likely an auto pic. Guess we will find out, Kevin
Just remember the good times!
