The way I see it is that Argent horserider is a harvest golem with charge most of the time. I can see it replacing harvest golem easily.
Well it depends on what you're running against. If you're seeing a ton of tokens from pally, imps from warlock or hounds from hunter, Harvest Golem is a better drop against them since it can kill four of them vs. two of them. As well, it can't be used to get past Voidwalkers and can't survive a double trade with Northshire Cleric. They both have their positives and negatives tbh.
EDIT: Also gets rocked by mages and can get pinged by hero powers.

Not in Mech decks. Harvest golem doesn't see much play anyway outside of arena.
I remember when Harvest Golem used to be the cream of the crop 3 drop. Sad that it doesn't see any play any more.
