As people have already said, Dr. Boom works in essentially any deck that reliably gets to turn 7. He almost always takes two cards to counter and the bombs can be game-winners by themselves if they hit the right targets.
I've played him in warlock, priest, warrior, druid and paladin... He's pure value, so it doesn't really matter what your deck is trying to do, he'll perform well.
PD: Excepting Face Hunter and Zoo, of course, those decks don't play anything beyond 5 mana.
He fits into every deck that plans to reach turn 7.
In terms of where he provides the most value, I'd say midrange decks. Aggro can have him as a dead card when they're trying to dump their hand and control *may* suffer from running a BGH target.
Those are pretty weak objections though, Dr. Boom's ability to establish a good board with a single card makes him one of the most powerful cards in the game.
. That's not the exact deck since I've takin out a few things but currently 12-0 in ranked. Low elo of course. was pretty happy to get this guy, as I was about to craft him to see what all the hubub is about.

How is Jeeves working out? Your curve is pretty high so I would say he is pretty useless.
This is how i have the deck set up currently. Its not a competitive ladder deck, but it's fun and controls the board well. 14-1 in low elo ranked play right now.
There is a common belief that Dr. Boom should be an auto-include in almost any decks.
That's quite true but here something you can do if you want to abuse the level of play of this card.
Ramp Druid... there is a school of thinking that they shouldn't run any 7 + attack minions (except for Ancient of War in troll Uproot mode)
Grinder Mage... I've seen decklists with Dr. Boom but I do believe that Baron Geddon is a better in this deck at this spot.
Basically... not including Dr. Boom in a deck is a sign that you want to deny at least one card from your opponent... which is BGH. Odds are that this card will never get played... since he'll be expecting Dr. Boom...

True that players will hold their BGH for Dr. Boom, but not to the point where they let any other big minion of that sort stay alive or until a Dr. Boom is no longer going to change the outcome of the game.
The versatility of Dr. Boom that forced BGH into almost every deck takes all the other 7+ attack minions as collateral. If you want to deny BGH you have to drop all your other big minions.
I just pulled one, and have heard a lot of hype about him. I'm not really sure where he fits. Sorry for the dumb question.
Well... almost any deck. I only wouldn't automatically put it in Face Hunter.

Have a great deck that's really, really cheap? Help the new players out
Zoo can afford to run Dr. Boom since you win by dominating the board.
Face hunter however does not care about the board at all and thus Dr. Boom is too slow.
Zoo also has a higher curve with Imp-losion, Dark Iron, Argus, Doomguard, Loatheb compared to face hunter where Leeroy is the only card above 3 mana.
Thanks for all the info! I don't netdeck, but I think I'll try him in my

I put him in for mech synergy and lack of draw, and he is working out good. I will post how the deck is set up now I'm just a second.

Any deck with 29 other cards.

Every deck, don't overthink it.
Pretty much everything that isn't hyper-aggro. So, the vast majority of decks.
