I simply cannot believe how much work this card does. I thought I would give it a try in my Druid & Pally deck for the heck of it last season at rank 3 ( as I did not have time to play to grind legend anyway ) and this card is a complete beast. First off I would like to say for those who have not tried this card that it is not even in the same league as other 5 drops like SB, SK, AD etc etc, it far surpasses them in performance.
The 'random' effect always seems to hit a worthy target and then leaves 3 solid 3/3 body behind for your opponent to deal with. I continued to use this card x 2 this season and 'Lobber' has won me so many games already, this card truly should be legendary, it's that good. I understand that the other neutral 5 drops serve certain purposes, and that is my point.
With the exception of card draw ( from AD ) "Lobber' can do anything any of the other 5 drops can do, and can do them better. I use to dislike 'random' effects as it is to RNG for my liking, but 'Lobber' has changed my view somewat. Even against Hyper Aggro ( retard mode ) 'Lobber' always manages to take out a minion that changes the tide of the game.
If any of you have not tried "Bomb Lobber' or are too weary to give it a chance, DO NOT be. Don't be afraid to swap out your Belcher's, Drakes or even your Spectral Knight's for 'Lobber', it's effect is instant ( silence is not a threat ) you won't be disappointed.
For every time Bomb Lobber's RNG hits a key minion, there are plenty of other times where it hits a Haunted Creeper or Clockwork Gnome. Not to mention the times where it is a dead card in hand because there are no enemy minions on the other side or they are all not worth wasting his effect on.
You and I have had different experiences my friend. Then again I would only play 'Lobber' on worthy targets. Example: 10 minutes ago my lobber hit an injured blademaster that was threatening to kill my Druid of the claw, he needs to be played properly is all.
