Those of you who have already crafted it, are you using it in your tempo decks ? Especially interested in opinions from the wild perspective, since it's the only game mode that I play.
Mai'ev is a strong tempo card. In standard, people try to use it as a control card, which also works as; albeit not as impactful due to combo being restricted to 2 classes at the moment and the rest of the meta being dictated by either RNG like we've never seen before, or going wide. Even priests go wide these days, so I don't see much point in playing it defensively.
As for wild, nobody plays control in wild. Control is dead in wild, you can say. Everything that's left after PriestIsOverParty are sonic decks; tempo, aggro or OTK. Violence, momentum, speed. Mai'ev may also serve to that purpose in there, but will definitely feel lackluster compared to how it performs in standard.
My opinion differs from the one that it is the most -or even only- safe craft, but it definitely is one of the safest.
Maiev has certainly been very underwhelming so far, some tempo decks play her but she is no Zilliax or Lich King. I would suggest you wait for some time, at least until nerfs.
He is a nice card that you wont regret having. He is also very useful in aggro decks and in highlander decks because he can handle that huge untargetable minion for a could of turns that threatens to win the game for the opponent or takes out that taunt if you are aggro. He is like a much better black knight or BGH.
But if you are low on dust, you should wait, because decks can emerge that could make you regret using the dust on a card that cannot own it's own enable a legend climb.
if you re mainly a wild player evocation is amazing in any mage deck.i ve won 100% of the games i played it so far, both standard and wild.
you are so right, I play both wild and standard and evocation is bonkers. I just have not done it yet, because if I do, I will have to craft quest as well and use up half my remaining dust.

In Wild you should be able to straight up kill things for 3 mana or less, so I can't say I see much of a point.

best way to win is have your opponent give up and concede.
