Most of the mage target spells are damage, only Conjurer's Calling could be potentially bad outcome. so, clears, and burn spells with +1 spell damage, really good if you have the time to draw and play it.
Can't call it meta defining simply due to how slow it is, but it is an excellent tool for any slower mage decks. It's going to be a staple card for singleton mage, as well as any control mage, but I doubt they are going to be the decks that define this meta. Still, card in a vacuum is scary strong and will push those decks hard. Arguably the strongest prime we've seen so far.

Voted very good. Strong effect, almost certainly favourable to the caster, while not being so strong to the point of being unfair.

Very good. Auto include in highlander decks.
The spell damage applies to the hero, but does it apply to the spells cast by the card? I'm not sure about this.
Imagine having spell damage on board and playing Yogg. Yogg won't have increased damage on spells right?
yes
