Sometimes a 2/9 with taunt, sometimes a 4/7, but most of the time just a 2/6 or a 3/5. Which are good stats for 3 mana, sure, but the card feels very meh.
I mean, if Discover still gave a bonus to class based cards, I would rate this as Meta defining. You know exactly what type of minions you will be getting and have a high chance of making it happen.
This means that you will almost always get a 2 drop from the neutral pool because there alot of them and Discover is not weighted, so you will not be happy with this card.
I mean, getting an Acidic Swamp Ooze gives you a 3/5 on turn 3, but no battlecry. Meh.
Now, if you coin this out on turn 2, its a decent tempo play. It almost always will trade into an early minion for free and most classes wouldn't be able to kill a 3/5 on their turn 3. Even if they do kill it, you might go into the next turn with an empty board as they had to trade their minions away.
You can also get some horrendous choices too. Deathrattle minions would be best though, but not many that seem worth a card.
The card is so bad. I can't see any synergies to any every existing priest deck in hs history. No deathrattle, silenceable, big, value, whatever card. Maybe divine inner fire card, but then there are way better fitting T3 cards in classic.
It's not bad. The minion will be above the curve stat wise. A 3/5 or a 2/6 usually. There are also some great high rolls, like millhouse, injured tolvir, and amani beserker. Its discover which means you can dodge all the really bad rolls. The problem is there's not really a deck for it. Combo priest doesn't have the space and quest priest doesnt play for tempo. Won't see play unless some other kind of board centric priest deck shows up.
Priest have one big weakness: utilizing their Hero power early. This card always gives you a high health minion that probably survive. Having a way to use your power (or some healing) to have a board early is one of the biggest weaknesses of priests.
Seems too inconsistent. Yeah it can highroll into a 4/7 or 2/9 taunt but most of the time you're just going to get a vanilla 3-drop since so many are dependent on battlecries.
This card is being slept on. It won't rule the meta, but amazing that people are calling it trash. Priest is so close to having just a good midrange tempo deck with more stuff like this being added.
It's also not hard to highroll with this card. Not a super highroll, but a highroll for turn 3. And most of all, it's entirely proactive which priest always needs.
Won't see play in standard unless combo gets a ton of support, but then again I see divine spirit or inner fire getting Hof'd this april. The rez package would have to rotate, and this card would be rotating with it.

Why does Blizzard hate priest so much?
Not terrible, but im not sure it will worth taking other cards from the deck to make space for this. A bit meh compared to the other reveals...
3 mana discover doomsayer...
3 Mana give a random friendly minion +3 Health.
LMAO BLIZZARD. My brain hurts. Damn.

Maybe the creature will have good statistics, but there will be no place for this card in the decks. It has a random effect and has no synergies.

It's fine but in which priest archetype do you want to play this
The best minions of cost 2 in standard that I consider:
Booty Bay Bootie
Doomsayer
Faerie Dragon
Injured Tol'vir
Millhouse Manastorm
2/5 or 3/5 is not bad at all

Again, won't rule the game, but it's a good card.
This shit. People, stop blaming us who want to play rez priest. If blizz gave us decent cards, we wouldn't have to

A card maybe only good for arena behind a paywall, incredible
Funny how most people are this is not a good card, yet blizzard does not see that. Makes me wonder the quality of Blizzards staff.
Funny how, as per hearthpwn norm, people make their "final" decision when 3% of a set is revealed.
There have been countless instances of "this card is unplayable" and then something else gets prievewed and "wow never mind its good" all of a sudden.
Will that happen in this case? Unclear. But don't even start with it's never happened before.
