I reckon I either wanna get some bits for a token druid. I have not played much druid ever, and after watching a friend play this last night, I thought it looked cool and I'd get to play loads of cards I've never used before.
Then my other options would be some kind of Warlock deck, either a cheaper handlock or carpet lock or something.
I have 3800 to spend, this is about what I need to build the Token Druid and it is the same For handlock as well. I think carpetlock would be a bit cheaper.
I know it's early days still, but theres not a very big card pool and I already have all the optimal stuff for rogue as well, this is just my secondary deck pretty much so I'm not really wanting to sit back and wait for some kind of solid meta to settle, I'd prefer to get in there early and have fun.
That said I do want to try and make the best choice, and as I can't test out the cards before buying them, I have came to you guys in the hopes someone can impart some knowledge or something, please?
You could make a budget Murloc Shaman! Just don’t craft the legendary I don’t think he’s necessary.
I’ve found rogue decks incredibly fun (but expensive) I could see a budget version of Lackey Tempo Rogue being solid. Heistbaron Togwaggle is great at the moment.

thanks dude. I already got all the rogue bits though. mainly looking for a 2nd deck here.
yeah I have been playing this, it's pretty awesome.
I am very tempted to play some token druid, but just holding out as long as pos to see if something pops up that counters it and makes the deck not as good or something.
Thought about Whizbang? Obviously not the most competitive option but really diverse and can be great if you want to experiment or try out new stuff in Casual after getting bored laddering with the main deck.
I'm not really into whizbang, thanks for the suggestion though.
silence priest looks alright.
really it's between one of the 2 token druids (one doesn't have portal and has more minions, this one is actually better I think, but more expensive) carpet warlock and overload murloc shaman.
I could actually afford to build both carpet warlock and overload murloc. The token druids are most appealing to me though as I have not played very much druid before, it's new and shiny for me.
I'm only apprehensive because it's a heavy investment (between 3.8k and 5.8k) if it ends up getting hard countered and becomes garbage. I don't know enough about druid to gauge whether it's only winning in the chaos of an early meta, or if it is really strong.
I'd just play some rogue for now and save my dust, but I've played so much rogue the past couple of years, I really wanna try something else out.
Token druid best deck right now and one of the cheapest. Best value dust/price. Even the best control deck (chaman and warrior) with the best aoes struggle against it (soul of the forest). ANy deck without aoe gets wrecked. It has everything, strong early, mid, late game. Many ways to refill your hand (twinspell, portal). Everything runs smoothly. More value than traditonnal aggro decks. This deck is insane. I played bomb warrior, murloc shaman, mech hunter, midrange hunter and secret paladin. For me, token druid is currently the best deck.

token druid is what I am most likely going to make. are you playing the version with portals or the one with warmage loti?
you think I should go for the portal version then? the minion version has a higher winrate and is supposed to be easier to play, but it's cheaper for me to craft the portal one.
You dont really need the best refined deck (wich isn't there yet really), but the core cards. The portal and the new legendary (aswell the old one) are "win more" cards so those are less priority. I suggest craft Wispering Woods first.

OK I'm just gonna go with token druid.
unless I decide to go completely left field and craft a mage or something. (not played mage properly in years neither)
....it's really hard to get people in engage in convo's on here at the minute :(

togwaggle rogue is quite good and lots of fun

You could try some silence priest, should be pretty cheap and effective I reckon. But that depends on your choice.

ah you said "portal"

You are short on dust so you have to craft directly the best one since you won't be able to make any mistake. Dust is very hard to gather.
You should wait. There are too many versions, it's a new deck, people are trying different builds.

But you can craft the core cards common to all of these decks, so you can try the deck.
