Hey, guys! This is my first post of this type, inspired by JelloApocalypse's videos on movies and such. This is intended to be a quickfire, lighthearted look at what's to come in The Witchwood. While this isn't an actual review, much of this is still my actual opinion, so feedback is very welcome. Hope you enjoy!
Emeriss: That’s the greenest Druid card I’ve ever seen ...Wait, what? Houndmaster Shaw: “But no can go face!” Shut up, this is great. Toxmonger: One shot, one Assassinate. Rat Trap: Nice that this exists. Trap needs testing though. Carrion Drake: Powerful even without Dragon synergy. Kathrena approves. Wing Blast: Niiiiiiiiice. Expect to see this card a lot. Duskhaven Hunter: This not being a Beast hurts it a lot. Vilebrood Skitterer: The Webweave problem, I’m guessing. What is it with spiders? Dire Frenzy: Now if only Hunter had efficient draw. Still, very strong. Hunting Mastiff: Timber Wolf/Leokk makes this just good enough.
MAGE
Toki, Time-Tinker: “Come on, Boom, come on, Ragnaros… oh come on, Boogeymonster?!” Archmage Arugal: Has reread the Book of Specters far too many times. Arcane Keysmith: Yet another reason why Ice Block had to go. Book of Specters: 2 mana draw 3? And it only costs my soul? Bonfire Elemental: Good enough for Elemental Mage. Curio Collector: Only good with Aluneth. Otherwise too slow. Cinderstorm: Less-Than-Adequate Arcane Missiles. Vex Crow: It’s like Flamewaker only worse in most ways. Black Cat: The only Odd support card that works. Good kitty. Snap Freeze: “Okay, fine, we’re sorry about Shatter!”
PALADIN
Prince Liam: Yes Paladin approves. The Glass Knight: Good enough vanilla stats, but Pally healing isn’t worth it. Cathedral Gargoyle: What dragons? I don’t see any dragons. Hidden Wisdom: Cool mindgames with Divine Favor. Great art too. Silver Sword: I see the price of silver has gone up recently. Bellringer Sentry: And here I was, happy that Mysterious Challenger was dead. Paragon of Light: “Someone get this lady a Dire Wolf, STATS!” Ghostly Charger: “Ghost Rider” was taken. (Worse Argent Commander.) Rebuke: Loatheb without the 5/5 (aka the important part). Meh. Sound the Bells!: Five bells means “incoming Galvadon.”
PRIEST
Lady in White: The ex-wife of Prince Keleseth. Maybe even better. Chameleos: Won’t see play since it’ll be in your hand. Glitter Moth: Divine Spirit Priest without Divine Spirit. ‘Nuff said. Vivid Nightmare: That is, if you fear Prophet Velen. Which you should. Nightscale Matriarch: 9 Health is a lot. Dragon Priest will use this. Coffin Crasher: Deathrattle: Summon an Obsidian Statue or Crystalline Oracle. Holy Water: Shadow Bolt + Convert. I’m not sold. Quartz Elemental: Shame Purify rotates out. Divine Hymn: 2 mana “make Paladin sad” card. Squashling: “Someone call for da doctor?”
ROGUE
Tess Greymane: Gives Burgle Rogue a win condition. Really nice. Face Collector: Somehow doesn’t help Rogue against Hunter. Tsk. WANTED!: Funny, because I really don’t WANT to open this. *rimshot* Spectral Cutlass: Need something… impractical? Cursed Castaway: “Starfire on my command!” Mistwraith: This’d be better if Echo was better. It’s not. Pick Pocket: Overcosted in every situation. Crime doesn’t pay, kids. Cutthroat Buccaneer: Obligatory Combo card. Nothing more. Blink Fox: Knows how to tango, but prefers the foxtrot. Cheap Shot: Unless you have Thalnos, too expensive for 2 damage.
SHAMAN
Shudderwock: H A H A H A H A H A Hagatha the Witch: Serious value card. Totemic Mights will still hurt though. Bogshaper: Has the best deals in the Witchwood! Totem Cruncher: Just not worth it. Murkspark Eel: Hmmm. Not sure if Even Shaman has enough to compete. Earthen Might: Mark of Y’Shaarj for Shaman. Seems good. Blazing Invocation: Can only be cast at 4:20. (And when randomly generated.) Ghost Light Angler: The Finishers are still on speed dial in Wild. Witch’s Apprentice: Croaks a little too easily. (Good in late-game.) Zap!: Well, you’re never sad getting this off Hagatha. Nice card!
WARLOCK
Lord Godfrey: Because Warlock was soooooo desperate for AoE. Glinda Crowskin: See? Giants. Deathweb Spider: Decent card that has no home at the moment. Ratcatcher: If by “Rat” you meant “Cube”, then yeah. Blood Witch: Ow, stop it. Ow, stop it. Ow, stop it. MOOOM! Curse of Weakness: Surprisingly not-weak card, but may not find a home yet. Dark Possession: Cubelock! Why must you make me hate this card? Fiendish Circle: “Have we compensated for Imp-losion enough yet?” Duskbat: Good enough for Zoo. Worst case scenario, Hero Power + this. Witchwood Imp: Replaced Malchezaar’s Imp due to insubordination.
WARRIOR
Blackhowl Gunspire: I don’t even know. Could… be… playable? Darius Crowley: Rush Warrior is real, and this is in it. Deadly Arsenal: If only Control Warrior still ran Gorehowl. But it doesn’t. Town Crier: Tutoring on a one-drop? I’ll take two. Festeroot Hulk: Taunt would’ve helped this guy a lot. As is, too slow. Militia Commander: Kills Tar Creeper. Redband Wasp: The Greenband Wasp is more family-friendly. (Too little Health.) Rabid Worgen: Curves great from the new Axe. That’ll do it. Warpath: Solid enough to go in most Warriors. I think. Woodcutter’s Axe: What makes Rush Warrior work. Excellent weapon.
NEUTRAL
Baku the Mooneater: This card will be broken eventually, mark my words. Azalina Soulthief: A 7 mana 3/3 with NO board impact. No thanks. Countess Ashmore: Curator with no Taunt, but better draw. Depends on meta. Genn Greymane: Same deal as Baku. Every card affects these somehow. Dollmaster Dorian: Great flavor, effect, and animation. Too slow. Won’t see play.
Gilnean Royal Guard: Genn really needs to do some restaffing. Chief Inspector: "Identification, please! I need to know who you are." Witchwood Grizzly: “Battlecry: Make your opponent want to nerf Lady in White.” Mad Hatter: Love the flavor! Benefits bigger boards that accept all buffs. Lifedrinker: Far better than people are giving it credit for. Witchwood Piper: Battlecry: Draw your Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Scaleworm: Goes in Dragon Hunter. That should say enough. Night Prowler: Good Doomsayer follow-up, but probably too inconsistent. Phantom Militia: Not sure what deck wants this, but Arena loves it.
Holy cow bro! The amount of effort you put into writing this post is insane, I applaud you on it. Very cool that you put in some of your own opinions. I'm gonna do a couple:
How long can this go on? Really, that was a long post. Stopped reading after Druid and realizing you did it for all the classes, but I envy your commitment. One day i’ll post a long ass piece of work like yours.
Hey! You commented on my review and asked me to take a look and I love it! I found myself laughing through quite a bit of it. Your analysis of Blink Fox and Blackwald Pixie really got me thinking. I love this style you have going. Nice work!
"The Glass Knight: Good enough vanilla stats, but Pally healing isn’t worth it." man I gotta say, that card don't even need the synergy with heal. U have it, u r going to make a mid-range aggro paladin, play this... It's just good enough. U are not making any sacrifice, it's just a really good minion

That's why I said "good enough stats." I think it has Cult Sorcerer Syndrome of having the text overcomplicate the fact that it's fine by itself. Problem is, it competes with Call to Arms and Truesilver Champion, the latter of which you really want in conjunction with this card. We'll see soon enough.

Thanks, man! I figured my structure was a pretty big departure from your massive analysis, but I'm glad you liked it! I fully intend to do these for each future expansion, since they're actually quite easy to put together (although card linking is always tedious in bulk).

Still, it was quite entertaining reading through this :) I'm quite hyped on the Hunter cards, and super duper excited Dragon Hunter is becoming a thing. "Emeriss uses Wing Blast! It's super effective!"
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

DRUID
Splintergraft: *Stonetusk Boar noises x 10*
Duskfallen Aviana: “I see your Malygos and raise you… wait, I’m dead.”
Gloom Stag: But who wants to play Odd Druid?
Wispering Woods: Does Hand Druid want seven 1/1s? Yeah, I guess.
Bewitched Guardian: Apparently Taunt costs 1 whole mana now.
Forest Guide: Coldlight died for this.
Witching Hour: Tyrantus meta incoming?
Druid of the Scythe: Oh, yeah, Druid has Choose One.
Ferocious Howl: Better or worse Shield Block. May see play.
Witchwood Apple: 2 mana “fill your hand with garbage”.
HUNTER
Emeriss: That’s the greenest Druid card I’ve ever seen ...Wait, what?
Houndmaster Shaw: “But no can go face!” Shut up, this is great.

Splitting Festeroot: Takes a long time to say anything in ent. “Uuuuniiiimpaaaactfuuuul.”
Worgen Abomination: Just play Geddon.
Mossy Horror: Great synergy with Pint-Sized Menace. Wait…
Muck Hunter: Leeroy for board control. Good pull from Ashmore.
Sandbinder: Gnomish Inventor took a gap year in Tarnaris.
Witch’s Cauldron: ...Why? Who actually wants this?
Nightmare Amalgam: Violently allergic to shellfish.
Voodoo Doll: Neutral hard removal, you say?
Baleful Banker: “And your total payment is… your soul.”
Gilnean Royal Guard: Genn really needs to do some restaffing.

Deranged Doctor: “Ah, Mr. The Corruptor, my favorite customer!”
Darkmire Moonkin: Just. Plain. Bad.
Furious Ettin: He’s gonna give this place such a bashing on Yelp.
Wyrmguard: Good enough for Dragon decks that play a longer game.
Clockwork Automaton: For when you REALLY wanna kill some insects.
Rotten Applebaum: New Sludge Belcher! Very solid common.
Felsoul Inquisitor: Not good enough on its own to go… anywhere.
Swift Messenger: Nice enough stats in both forms to fit Rush Warrior.
Unpowered Steambot: Runs on Inner Fire and salty Aggro tears.
Ravencaller: Could be okay refill for Token decks.
Tanglefur Mystic: Because “Twodropslinger” didn’t sound right.
Blackwald Pixie: Would ironically be far better in Genn decks.
Pumpkin Peasant: Fittingly, a poor card.
Marsh Drake: Okay, someone at Blizzard forgot Potion of Madness exists again.
Hench-Clan Thug: Might as well be a Rogue card.
Walnut Sprite: This card is nuts. *half-hearted rimshot*
Lost Spirit: I sure ain’t afraid of this ghost.
Spellshifter: Dalaran Mage + Duskboar + ??? = Profit?
Vicious Scalehide: This could actually be fantastic with any kind of buff.
Swamp Dragon Egg: Duskbreaker…? Nah.
Swamp Leech: The Deathstalker abides.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
