With eater of secrets going to wild with the next rotation I feel like there need to be more options to tech against secrets as currently they're frustrating to play against because there are only two cards in classic that can remove/prevent secrets in play, and neither of them are neutral.
Do you guys think that more cards that directly counter secrets would be a good thing?
You won't need a secret counter anymore when ice block gets moved to hall of fame. If not they will just print another secret counter or move one of the 2 to the classic set.
I don't see it as frustrating right now. It's a non issue. If you want to counter secrets you run the secret counter. If not that's fine too. It's not like you want to run 4 cards that counter secrets.
I mean as long as they print another counter in the next set, I'm ok. It's always good to have a counter to secrets, especially if tempo mage gets a buff.
After rotation we need another tech against secrets just for the sake of having it. The most reasonable option is to move Eater of Secrets to classic set or make a neutral secret counter card in classic set, so we won't have another problem like this.
Unfortunately, Blizzard is making this game, so we will receive another tech in the next expansion or else we pretty much won't have any.
Having multiple ways to remove secrets isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if they behave in different ways or are at different mana slots, for instance. Maybe have a minion that destroyed a random enemy secret if it did something like kill a minion or go face (one of the two, not both; just as two possible ideas).

3 mana 2/5, "Secrets cannot be activated."
Basically Mindbreaker for secrets. Doesnt destroy secrets. Must be killed for secrets to work again.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
