Even with the upcoming expansion, do you see any deck that would still use it in standard? Or is it a thing of the past where you could afford to play it and win the game in the next few turns without the aid of other cards?
I run it in my krul lock which I played a few weeks ago. Had nearly a 50% w/l. But atm the meta is hyper aggressiv so it's not really a option anymore.
The Death Knight is indeed stronger, but in Wild I run both the DK and Jaraxxus. One of the reasons is that Voidcaller pulling Jaraxxus onto the battlefield is now actually a good thing: 3/15 are good stats, especially if you have demon buff cards, while him being pulled from your hand doesn't ruin your late game if you still have the DK to fall back on. So if the warlock legendary weapon turns out to be playable, Jaraxxus would work well with it, but as a minion, not as a hero replacement.
Bloodreaver Gul'dan is indeed stronger: it gives you instantaneous board and healing combined with damage on both minions and face. On comparison Lord Jaraxxus lose in each aspect: you get a weapon that can be destroyed and requires you to take damage (if used as removal) and the new HP requires time to establish board's control.
Until a direct counter to DK come out, it will always be superior to Jaraxxus.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Jaraxuss only if CW become dominant force again in the meta. Now 15 hp is too easy to shoot down with Raza Priest or Burn mage. In Wild my CW never have problem vs Gundan because Justicar out heal the hero power but still lose vs a suprise Jaraxus, so the power is stilk there.
Jaraxxus is only good for krulzakus decks.it is a swappable 3/15 with crazed alchemist for an instant lethal.but beside that i wouldnt recomment set the cap at 15 because of retarduin the machine gun.

Well, most people disagree, but I think we may see a come back because it would not be so bad with Master Oakheart. Sure the ultimate goal is to have only Voidlord, but still, it's a nice plan B. If you get it out as a minion, it's still a nice 3/15 on the board with a 5/5 for only 9 mana, and Voidlord will have to be summoned later at full cost which is not so bad. And it's good if you had to use Voidlord before you ever got Master Oakheart. And worst case scenario is if you get [card]Lord Jaraxxus[/card] before any of the other two cards, then you can still play it as it used to be played, and maybe save the day. I really think we will see it more often now when Kobolds comes out.

it was in there to beat control priest and control warrior and both are obscure so noone runs it.
Not for a legend deck
Keeper of the Grove Gone, but not forgotten.
As long as Raza is in the game no, is not viable. Maybe after the rotation in April.
Gul´dan is just much stronger because of his Battlecry and 3 Damage Lifesteal Hero Power

I love my Golden Jax and he will always see play.
...The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude to the problem.
