i made an elemental Mage, but I don’t have Baron Geddon. I lose 80% of the damn games. I have an optimal deck besides that 1 card. Is the deck just not that good in general right now?
At what point of the games are you tending to lose? If it's in the early game due to aggro, then Gedon won't help much because for it to swing the game, you first need to play jaina. So it's a 10+ turn play. On the other hand, if you're struggling against other control decks and cubelock, geddon could help a lot.
It’s both control and aggro. I feel like the synergies of the elemental is too slow. However, whenever I play against one, they win alll the time. It’s hard to tell if it’s luck of the draw or weak matchups when I lose. Im using Kripps version, but maybe the meta has changed enough to make the deck obsolete. I can’t believe it either because I crafted Jaina for the deck, and it has my worst winrate of any deck I play. Super frustrating to say the least.
As far as I know, elemental mage is not ladder viable, so it's not just your experience. But looking at your deck, I can suggest a few things.
Toki is pretty useless. It's too slow and rng-dependent in a fast meta. Ice walkers are also not useful, too slow. Servant of kalimos is also a bit meh, maybe put in a lich king instead? I would add some spells. I've gone against elemental mages that finished me with pyroblast (I was salty that he ran both book of specters AND pyroblast, but it works!) and one that nuked my board with flamestrike. Random idea that just occured to me, but you could try playing some big spells and rave familiar to pull them out of your deck to minimize your chance of pulling it with book of specters.
Pyros and Baren Gedon would be good inclusions. That 3/5 minion that gains divine shield and taunt if you played an elemental last turn is quite a good follow up to tar creeper against aggro. It's wall after wall they have to get through if you manage to mulligan into that. Saronite would also help against aggro if you're struggling there. Against control, you should be fine if you get jaina early enough. Infinite value of healing and minions tends to beat the other control decks unless it's combo or rin, esepcially since polymorph and voodoo doll are 1 mana minion generators for your hero power. If Rin messes you up and you run out of cards late game against control, one Azalina is a great alt win conditions against control decks with large hands. You keep your superior hero power and gain their hand.
Sorry for the word vomit, I didn't really organize my thoughts well, but for now, that's what I can offer.
Looks for me like it is hard to comeback if you lose board since you got no AoE.
Also it requires good opening hand and what is more important good curve. Didnt use Arugal personally but I think he is too slow for this meta and for this deck.
luck of draw, AoE, required good curve, even maybe first turn in some games probably makes this deck slow and not good enough for this meta.
I think you can try to make this deck more controlish (but then big spell mage is better) or more midrange (then tempo mage is probably better) if you really want to play elem mage.
If I were you I would probably cut Arugal, 2 Book of Specters, 1 Ice Walker, 1 Manipulator, 1-2 Servant of Kalimos, Toki and add 1-2 Arcane intellect, maybe one flamestrike, (if you want to make it more midrange curve deck you can try to add lich king if you got him), Pyroblast , maybe try mindbreaker, even Azalina can work if you got her.
In my opinion it is hard to make this type of deck to work since it is too slow and dependent on many factors that I wrote before (hand, curve, almost every turn you need to play elem, if you lose board you lose game, etc). Hope you can understand something from this mess.

I made the deck my own rather than directly copying, but it should be comparable imo.
