So I was trying to figure out some new combos with the cube. And I started to wonder, say I have The Lich King on the field and I play Carnivorous Cube on it. Then I play another Carnivorous Cube onto that first cube. I know that it will spawn out 2 The Lich King cards but when the new cube dies and spawns the following 2 cubes, will they still summon out 2 lich kings respectively??
If you make a COPY of the cube though (Mirage Caller for example) then the 1/1 copy will actually spawn 2 of the cubed minions too.
Yep, I just did this to a warlock. Took control of a voidlord and cubed it. Then on the next turn summoned a 1/1 copy of my cube using mirage caller. 2 turns later I had 4 voildlords on the Board. I don't think he was too impressed.
Adding to your topic a bit but what would happen in this scenario, does anyone know?
Opponent plays Lich King, I respond with Twilight Acolyte and swap attack with it. I then take control of Lich king using Cabal Shadow Priest. On the next turn I cube the Lich King.
Do the Lich Kings that come out of the cube then have 8/8 or do they keep the 2 attack as the Lich King had 2 attack when eaten by the cube?
I've yet to be able to pull this combo off in my cubepriest deck so haven't been able to find out for myself yet :p

no, they won't, the copies of carnivorous cubes summoned by the seocnd cuebe will be vanilla cubes with absically no deathrattle
youtube video proving it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnE7m9AkwN8
Well then, that is good to know. I'm glad I didn't try it in a game yet :P
