So I got 3 of the new bundles and ended up opening a golden dragon soul, so I wanted to know if it's worth it, I haven't seen a single deck with it in like 6 months and it looks too difficult and inneficient to build around and 1600 dust for it seems like a lot if you ask me, you guys think it will ever be good?
Even if they make more low cost spells for priest i dont think it'll be good. I tried it, and its biggest issue was that it's "3 spells in a turn", not "every 3 spells you cast summons a 5/5". So if you cast 4 or 5 spells in a turn, those are "wasted" spells. You have to cast spells in multiples of 3 per turn to not "waste" any potential dragons, and that's something I doubt they could address with any new cards they add.
I opened a golden one too a while back and really tried to make it work. Best case scenario is you might get a couple dragons on the turn you have lyra+a radiant elemental out, but with all the board clears that exist that turn is probably the only one you'll get any use out of it. I think maybe once I got a dragon out on turn 4 with coin+power word shieldx2 but even that best case scenario felt underwhelming. Dust it for a legendary that will actually make you win instead of make your opponent emote "wow" before killing you easily.
Dust for sure unless you like to play experimental Priest decks with free generated spells. The card is too slow and not competitive at all. If you want to be competitive, use this dust for better cards.
People have tried and tried to make Dragon Soul work - the closest that people have come is like a Miracle Priest with Lyra the Sunshard, but even then it is very difficult to get any value out of Dragon Soul. One day there may be a deck where Dragon Soul is the lynchpin of a Tier 1/2 deck like Hadronox is for Taunt Druid, but that day may also never come. Dust it and get a legendary that you don't have that will always find some use, like Harrison Jones.

I'll have a very different opinion, as I build a dragon soul deck and I had a TON of fun with it. Granted, it has a (very) low winrate, and you'll concede a lot, but those games when it works are amazing. I'd love to have the card golden.
Now it's up to you, do you value efficiency, fun, golden cards (I never dust my golden legs)? And what fun means to you?
Mason Steel, or Heeljin, made a miracle priest list and Ancient of War provided an odd version underneath. I've played the odd version because it was cheaper for me and it's a blast. I would recommend if you have the cards playing it a few times, then reconsidering. I don't think Dragon soul will ever be very reliably strong because the kind of cards that enable it are often problems, but it is very fun.
Not sure if it's worth it, but Jackiechan is streaming a dragon soul deck at rank 1 right now. Might check it out or the VODs. If someone can figure out a good use of dragon soul it's him.
Has potential in the future but right now, it is too hard to build around. So I would dust it if you need to craft something else immediately.

Dust it. It's a dreadful weapon.

For me all the golden cards are not worth
I also have a golden dragon soul from packs. I've played it three times. It's a legendary inefficient devilsaur egg.
All goldens are dust. Dragonsoul is also a bad card. So definitely dust.

agreed.

Are you high? Dust it asap.

Seems like as we get more echo cards it might be useful.
Agreed, some people see a golden legendary, I see the ability to craft whatever legendary I want. :)
It's not.
But you can toy around with it until you have a specifing crafting plan plan with the incoming 1600 dust.
It's like Lady in White. The entire deck revolves around drawing a single card. This is worse, though, because weapons can be removed.
That's just not going to be consistent. Like others have said, it is fun when it works.
