First of all, excuse me if i opened a thread in the wrong place. I am new here. Registered this morning. Before the KOFT release i got a golden Malygos and my dilema is if to disenchant it for dust or use it in some kind of deck. Not seen it for a very long time and i dont know where to use it. What do you recommend me? Make him dust or not?
I would keep Malygos because he is pretty unique in enabling some combo decks. I played a little Rogue with the Death Knight and it seemed okay. You can use the stealth to dodge possible death and the new hero power gives you more cheap burn if you use Sinister Strike.
Well, now i understand why i havent seen him for a while. I play most classic not wild. I like combos but waiting turn 9 to play him and hope that the opponent has not a hex or a polymorph is not too nice, at least for me.
My first ever legendary was Malygos. In Standard I do not use it but in Wild! Shaman, Hunter, Druid, Priest (Maly+Velen, double the odds of drawing one of them) and most importantly Warlock. Malylock is one of the funniest decks I have ever played. Warlock is the perfect class for combo decks in wild; has boardclears, single target removals, card draw and if you add the Dragon package to the deck and Healbots you will have heals and taunts and decent midgame minions too.
If you like playing a real miracle rogue again, then of course :) DK Valeera was the perfect addition to malyrogue. You can play Valeera the Hollow turn 9 to set up a one turn kill: Malygos into PreparationEviscerate followed by 2xCounterfeit Coins (one from Hero power) and 2 Sinister Strikes into Razorpetal for 31 face damage for example. Even more things are possible with further Preps/Coins and Eviscerates/Shivs in hand.

Well i didn't see it that way. Even so, i can only hope to have all the things that you said in my hand at turn 9. And I don't have Valeera the Hollow yet :D

Well... not having Malygos is the only thing that keeps me from playing this deck :c
About the cards: gathering combo pieces is the thing miracle rogue is about :) with a big auctioneer turn you have everything you need :p

You made me curious. I will search some decks and see what is capable of :D

Keep him for now, until the meta settles in. Regardless, golden Malygos is pretty sweet!

There was a really fun Miracle Rogue with Emperor Taurossian and Barnes back in the days, I'm sure petals would add up well with Maly.
Nice to see but difficult to play. Maybe i will keep him. Still the idea of trasforming him into the Lich King is pretty tempting

I think so. The fact is that i do not play very much wild. To be honest, maybe not at all. This is the reason of my doubt

in Wild, with Emperor Thaurissan and Tomb Pillager you don't even need valeera, although you could fit her in smh.
in standard, Burgly Bully also helps with coins.
this is my own take at it, in Wild. With Arcane Giant, because they are big, and the opponent feels safe if and when they kill them... O:)
I'm loving Maly with Valeera the Hollow. This is how I'm doing it:
