If your certain you want the lich king in gold, craft it first you avoid the potential waste of getting a normal one in a pack. The chances of you actually opening a golden one is so slim its not worth trying for.

Exactly this. Craft any legendary u want to get golden, cause when u open it normal u will be sad panda.
1. The chance of opening a golden legendary that is the same as the one you want to craft later. Thus saving you the trouble of crafting it for 3200 dust.
2. The chance of opening a non-golden legendary that is the same as the one you want to craft in golden later. Thus forcing you to disenchant it as a duplicate legendary for 400 dust.
For me the choice is simple:
First craft the golden cards you want, then open all possible packs from the expansion, them craft the missing ones.

U cannot count on opening a golden legendary, let alone the exact one u want :P So there is no choice :P

Exactly. That's why you should craft golden cards before you open packs, then open packs, then craft non-golden cards. It's the most economical order.
I mean unless you're made of money then nothing matters.
With only 87 packs i would forget golden Lich King for the moment. You will lack tons of cards of the set. You underestimate crafting other cards which adds up dust quickly that you need for specific decks.

I have 87 packs waiting to open, with 10550 dust in my collection. And 2880 if I DE my duplicates currently.
I wouldn't do it. First i would open packs ;)
Nope, open packs than decide what to craft. Cheers and Gl :)

To everyone:
You have to evaluate which you value higher:
1. The chance of opening a golden legendary that is the same as the one you want to craft later. Thus saving you the trouble of crafting it for 3200 dust.
