So it's pretty reasonable to assume the lifesteal keyword will be shown as one of the discover options right? If so I'd count that as a Nerf for Vicious Fledgling. After all with all the high priority keywords like windfury, stealth , +health ,untargetable you need to hit to keep Fledgling alive you really don't want another useless keyword option down the road
It is alright. It needs clearing but it is not OP, except if you leave it for a few turns hitting your face without taunts. It is useless against taunts as it is only a 3/3.

I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.
'How many Blizzard employees do you need to fix a lamp? It does not matter, because they cannot balance the ladder.'
no, it's not pretty reasonable. What makes you think that they will an another adaption? It looks like you think that Vicious fledgling is the only card that can adapt.
I never said It be the only adapt minon but one which would be affected in a pretty obvious negativ was by such a change..my assumption was since it is a ability it would be added to the adapt options..but now that I think of it spelldamage + isn't an option either..so maybe they won't add it to the adapt options
I think it is nerf worthy. Adding a cap to how many adapts it can recieve would be great. Sure its a 3/3, but cheated out on turn one or an immediate buff can make games end by turn 4. That is awful snowball design that people whined years about with tunnel trogg. I dont understand why people think just because its a different card, its okay. Its bad design that needs to leave hearthstone forever.
It's sorted in the arena. In constructed, it can snowball like any other card if left uncontrolled, mana wyrm, trogg...sure, it can snowball a lot faster, but it's 3 mana, so all's good. Didn't really experience anybody nailing me with it outside arena.
It doesn't need a nerf. There are plenty of ways to deal with it. Besides, Scavenging Hyena can get just as out of control and win the game by Turn 5 or so. I don't hear anyone moaning about that.
Can we just look to the future? All of these cries to Nerf cards that people don't like is getting wearisome. Vicious Fledgling has its place in the game, just as every other Card.
I don't meant to cry for a Nerf here..just entertained the thought that lifesteal could be added to the discover options for adapt..which would hit Fledgling pretty hard..
I play it myself in token druid and would probably switch it out for something else if that where to happen

Check out my homebrewn Paladin deck.
Just because they're adding lifesteal to the game doesn't mean it will be added to adapt options.
50% less often seen in arena, also the unguru bonus goes down on next expansion expect to see him only once every 10 games or so.
Charge is a keyword, yet it's not in the adapt options: not all keywords are included in adapt.
Also, there is no reason to expand an already balanced mechanic.
Vicious Fledgling nerf is another story.
