Here I was about to disenchant my golden and no golden Tinkmaster Overspark (don't ask why I have both..) and then it hit me. He might work in the token druid I'm playing. What do you guys think is it worth a shot? Those golden squirrels are just way to hilarious..But normally he is way to bad to be used
Tinkmaster saw legit play just a short while ago during Old Gods to transform C'Thun and prevent it from being shuffled back into the deck. I wouldn't count out the card from becoming a viable meta call sometime in the future.
For transforming your own minions it's probably too unreliable.
Lemme know if it works! I pulled it from my last pre-un'goro brawl award pack and didn't have the heart to disenchant it. Played a dozen games or so on casual trying to find some use for it and I don't think I got a single favorable transform. I did manage to nab a Finja once, but it was a 5/5 transform, so I'm not sure it helped all that much.

So after a lot of testing i can say he really doesn't work well. Most of the time he just sits there waiting to be played but a safe moment won't occur or he just transforms your minons into 1/1s. He'll probably end up as dust soon or i just use him in a stupid fund deck as soon as i hit 5 xD
Disenchant the golden tinkmaster but keep the normal. The normal might one day see legit play but that might take a while, and it's better for you to disenchant the golden one for a actual useful legendary that's going to see play for a while.
He was useful vs. decks that had strong deathrattle minions - Sylvanas, Tirion, White Eyes. Basically like a very unreliable Hex or Polymorph. You would take a vanilla 5/5 over any of those of course, but if there were other minions on the board it was dependent on RNG.

Thats what i'm going to do most likely as soon as i need the dust. But somehow i really like the golden version. Its way more flashy in a fun deck
I honestly like the golden cards that affect the board. Golden Tinkmaster Overspark creating a Golden Squirrel or Golden Devilsaur is always a nice effect to see as opposed to something like Golden Brann Bronzebeard. But that's just aesthetics that I enjoy lol
This time for sure!! -- Tinkmaster Overspark, Un'Goro 2017
Memes aside, Tinkmaster can be thought of as a neutral but less reliable (due to RNG) Polymorph/Hex that any class can use. When archetypes form around reusing a powerful minion by any means, (be it bounce, resurrection, or deathrattle), then denying that minion becomes an important counter play option, hence why it saw play as a tech card against deathrattle decks and C'Thun - if their Sylvanas or C'Thun didn't die, they can't be resurrected, brought back by N'Zoth, or reshuffled back into your opponent's deck.

He sucks. He was just a tech card againts certain archetypes pre gadgetzan. Right now he's useless
