There seem to be some really good ones, but anything that seems like they will be really meta defining / necessary if you are playing a certain class (or neutrals, of course)
The new Elise will be played quite a bit in Control, I imagine. She doesn't have as much upside as Loatheb for aggro, but every Control deck appreciates a solid 5 mana 5/5 with added value over time.

What is control when jade idol exists. This card is good but not must have.
You'll probably want the two quests that have been revealed. Also the new discard minion seems really good, if you've ever played discolock you'll know that more discard minions is very strong, especially a good one like this. It can sometimes be hard to discard 6 cards so it'll definitly be needed. The Rouge card is kinda meh but not bad. The hunter card could be used in most hunter decks but definitly won't be a must have. The neutral 3 mana taunt is a must have and most decks will probably run it!
If you are playing wild, imo Lakkari Sacrifice and Lakkari Felhound are must have, Discardlock will be the most powerful warlock deck with Renolock. It's hard to tell for standard though because warlock is losing a TON of demon and discard synergy with the next rotation and I think Voidcaller/Imp Gang Boss are necessary cards to keep high consistency within the deck.
Don't fool yourself into thinking Lakkari Sacrifice is too slow/weak/whatever like most people do. Discard warlock, and the discard mechanic as a whole, had a major flaw. The stronger your discard cards are, the more discard synergy you add into your deck, the faster you burn through your deck. This essentially meant that as discard warlock your late game was non existent, you would automatically lose to any deck that managed to stabilize in the mid game. Discard warlock is naturally strong against aggro decks (weak to face decks unfortunately so it is off meta right now but Lakkari Felhound helps a lot) because of its ability to quickly dominate the board with overstated minions and huge tempo swings and having a 1 mana do nothing card in your opening hand won't change the fact that the deck is good against aggro, but when you don't draw in the right order or discard something you needed, they will stabilize and you will face the same problem, they have cards left and you haven't.
This is where Nether Portal solves everything. A card that generates infinite value over time and cannot be discarded (technically it can, but it shouldn't happen if you make no mistake). Now this isn't something you want to play on curve, obviously, by turn 5 you still have a lot of fuel in your hand/deck and you probably haven't discarded 6 cards yet. But this isn't something you want to play too late either because you don't want to risk it being discarded once it is in your hand. This is where Voidcaller/Imp Gang Boss come into play, allowing you to keep pressuring the board in the midgame without discarding anything, offering you an opportunity to play Nether Portal a few turns later if necessary. I also think Prince Malchezaar will be necessary, because it takes 1 slot but gives you 6 discardable cards, has synergy with Voidcaller, and fills a hole in the midgame when you need board presence + not risking to discard Nether Portal.
I might be a bit optimistic about it, but I think Lakkari Sacrifice created an amazing Wild archetype, an actual Discard warlock that makes sense against all decks, not a discard warlock that loses the game against an easy matchup because it discarded the wrong cards, not a discard warlock that automatically loses to control decks because they burnt their entire deck by turn 10.
The more I think about it, none of this is going to work in standard. No Imp Gang Boss, No Voidcaller, no Fist of Jaraxxus, no Demonwrath, no Dark Peddler, no Dark Bargain.. Yes Dark Bargain, yet another card that had no reason to exist, supposed to be good against control decks but faces the major issue of burning the necessary value to win control matchups. Now this card is actually amazing thanks to Lakkari Sacrifice.
I always thought that Prince Malchezaar wasn't just a random fun/RNG/filler legendary, and that they designed it to fill the discard niche. When you look at Elise the Trailblazer it's pretty obvious that it's a wat better card advantage generator than malchezaar for any deck that would be interested in having such a card. But would you rather play Elise trailblazer or Malchezaar in discard warlock ? Malchezaar of course. If i'm right then Prince Malchezaar won't be a collection filler anymore, that's kinda cool.
Remember one thing though. Zoo and discolock generally start snowballing from strong 1-drops like Flame Imp and Voidwalker. Playing Lakkari Sacrifice is a 1-mana do-nothing, and that does change the tempo and play style quite a bit! This is a built-in weakness makes me a bit less worried that this is broken.

That's what I thought when I saw it as well. It definitely shifts discard decks from raw aggression to slightly slower midrange style. The other question I have in mind is what kind of discard synergy cards they will release with this. One more discard card seems like it's on the docket, but as is yet revealed, and that could make all the difference.
For instance, I could see a Warlock legendary like: "Whenever you discard a card, shuffle a copy of it back into your deck." If something like that were revealed, then it would very possibly put the deck into a slower mode that doesn't necessarily want to all-out tempo discard in many matchups. Which of course, means that it becomes a less one-dimensional deck in the long run.
The new priest quest MIGHT fit a Kazakus/Raza the Chained deck as the legendary it rewards gives a strong taunt with a (verified?) Reno Jackson-style health refill and ups the max health to 40, but the seven-plus deathrattles need to be pretty good for a highlander deck. And you might need N'Zoth and possibly a strong deathrattle like Cairne Bloodhoof or if you think you can pull it off, Deathwing, Dragonlord.
Looks like priests did get a good taunt deathrattle w/ +1/+1 buff, a successor to Twilight Guardian but without that dragon synergy.
BTW, that priest quest would be hella easy to do in wild with the bigger pool of quality deathrattles, and with Reno Jackson and Sylvanas Windrunner, would probably make Highlander N'Zoth Priest a beast in wild play.

I'd like to see discard moved to midrange as well or even control (Deathwing amirite?). And a legendary that puts cards back in your deck would be one way to do it. However, it would have to be a pretty powerful effect or very cheap stats for it to work. If it only happened while it was on board, you'd only get 2-3 cards max back in your deck which normally isn't that useful. I would love to see a legendary with a battlecry that put all your discarded cards back into your deck. Or even "if this card is discarded, add all other discarded cards back into your deck". Without something like that, it would be hard to justify playing a midrange/control deck with 24 or less cards.
I do not see any "Must haves" atm anyway, like with any expansion it is difficult to gauge a card well until has it has seen some play. for now I like the Mage 2 drop and the 4 mana taunt.
Because random shitty legendaries with no sinergy are only good at making you fatigue later? Seriously, ive tried to make malchezaar work, but the amount of shit, high-cost, hand-filling, unplayable legendaries you get are enough of a drawback to make you lose any matchup where the opponent intends to kill you at any point in the game.
NOt to mention malchezar himself is really weak a 5/6 for 5 is really bad without an added ability when played.
DOn't think we can assume anything my craft list for gadgetzan had 120 legendaries in practice like 5 are actually used.. same for every expansion really.. in GVG like 10 seem useful but all you needed was dr. boom, voljin and malganis.

Well, discard control I don't think will ever be a thing. Control needs value and discard is the antithesis of value. However, if the discard decks really do become midrange-y enough, Deathwing could be an awesome finisher like it sometimes is for Dragon Warrior.
Edit: and assuming Nether Portal can survive Deathwing, then that's a very potent combo that gives you more on board than a single 12/12 removal magnet.
I don't understand why so many people are pessimistic about cards like Lakkari Sacrifice at this point. We've seen only a little more than 10% of the cards in the expansion, so there could easily be some discard mechanics that make Lakkari more viable, and the same goes for every other underwhelming card so far. Maybe Warlock will get a spell or minion aura that says something like 'discarded cards go back to your hand' or 'discarded cards get shuffled back into your deck.'

Sherazin Corpse Flower is must not have meta defining card.
Another big insult for rogue players.

Great analysis there, totally agree!
It's not a must-have at all but people are surely underestimating Sherazin, Corpse Flower. It's SLOW, it's not bad.

The Mage 2 drop is the only thing so far fwiw.
lol at someone inept enough to think malchezaar is good in a discardlock.

For me, Elise, because she looks like a lot of value and a lot of fun.

Elise in every non-aggro deck.
Love the tribes.
