Pirate decks are too fast, they need to not be able to kill you on turn 4.
Im sorry but this thread isnt about how fast pirates kill. Its about small-time buccaneer not being the cause of it. Also this thread is a small-time buccaneer appreciation thread :)

Small-time buccaneer is awesome and a flame imp pirates deserve.
The amount of ignorance in this post is hilarious.
You might as well say (insert card) isn't broken because you lost against (insert deck) at turn X.
Just because you STILL lose super fast against pirate warrior even when they don't play a small time, DOESN'T mean that small time isn't part of the problem.
I would rather see them actually give the 6 classes who can't play pirates the tools to deal with this garbage in the next expansion. If that fails, Nerf before the adventure hits.
the problem isnt overpowered aggro cards, its the lack of good early control cards. what options do we have early game as control? doomsayer? maybe one or 2 removal spells? removal spells dont help if youve already been charged at. we need early BIG taunt minions, things like dirty rat without insane rng effects. like say for example 2 mana 2/5 taunt deal 4 damage to all friendly minions so itcant be used in aggro or something like that. or a card that heals you every turn if not dealth with, giving it psuedo taunt

Cards like Leper Gnome and Abusive Sergeant were nerfed. This card is a flame imp with no downside available to all weapon classes. This card should be nerfed. Period.

But he never even played a Small-Time Buccaneer.

Blizzard could make counters to Small-Time Buccaneer next expansion instead of nerfing it
