To be honest, three cards from your own deck is usually a better bet (i.e. draw three cards). If you're a warlock, then 3 random demons is most probably better (add 3 demons to your hand). Personally, I would not want this option reducing the odds of the other two "add 3" options.
The only instance in which this would be superior is for a priest, looking for more synergy with stolen cards, in a fatigue game where the number of cards left in your deck matters.

naah, the Random demon ingredient is already pretty much borderline filler, we don't need more filler ingredients
It'd probably make him worse since you are less likely to discover the AOE spell.
