Ideally he would be used in some sort of combo deck. However, the fact you cannot include any 3-drops is too big a drawback to make him viable - at least for now. In wild he could be used in some kind of maly rouge with a one tick from Emperor Thaurissan to deal a shitload of damage.
I tried him in a Hadronox (the Druid spider legendary) deck using big taunts since nobody kills Hadronox right away. Incredibly slow and greedy deck. If you ever feel like trying out a pay to lose deck though, give it a shot!
If I had him, I would work on a Mal'ganis deck with bim, it's easier to get him out with the 3/4 demon that summon a demon from your hand as a deathrattle.
I haven't seen a deck with him and Finja, but I guess the murloc commander is too important.
He'd fit with Wickerflame, and any minion that has a good deathrattle (I'm thinking about that 5 mana 2/2, deathrattle: summon a 8/8 if it's your opponent turn). I was thinking about crafting him for the fun of trying him in decks
Taldaram was played in simple token shaman replacing mana tides. He has great synergy copying flametongue, Carine, Aya or just hero power totems. Or any juicy minions from the opponent, I guess
I really like how everyone is theorizing decks that he "belongs in" that don't exist when he's played competitively in a shaman totally unlike said decks and for totally different reasons
In shaman he can also become a good target for evolving, copy some expensive shit (either yours or opponents), evolve that 3/3 sucker and you get a big as minion out of it since he has the mana-cost of whatever you copy. So yeah quite fun in shaman actually.
Did seriously no one watch the most recent HCT? Or at least review the decklists when voting time came around?

Yes, he was tried, in a big tournament, but the inclusion did not catch on, which is why he is still tier 5 in the crafting guide. His best synergy is probably Nerubian Egg, at least a decent starting point!
not yet, but he could be powerful. I did a Taldaram-MalygosTTK druid (doesn't work as well now because innervate got nerfed). Still think it can work reasonably well in druid (since there aren't any must-have 3-drops in there as of now).
Also, there's always wild, where it could enable some OTks via Thaurissan that Faceless manipulator can't achieve with just one proc

He's caught on in the CN server actually. You run things that we don't run in NA/EU like cult master as well for the extra copy targets (One guaranteed card draw or a board clear commitment from the opponent!). Honestly I think there's nothing wrong with the card. The only thing holding him back is his absence in western netdecking sites to make him popular, which is exactly the same problem Prince 2 had

Not really, his numbers are not exacly stellar either, beaten in every way by cards like Princess Huhuran. I think his problem is that he is too difficult to set up on for value on turn 3, and he is your only 3-drop. You are much better off running an Earthen Ring Farseer.

The people around here are too obnoxious to ever consider playing Wild though.
Personally, I found him to be a strangely useful deterrent card, copying mostly my opponent's minions with nasty effects than my own. Rag, Sylvanas, even poor ol' Anomalus.
He could be used in a DK priest deck theoretically, but the 3 spot has plenty of powerful cards... especially shadow word death, which would be the biggest lost... but on turn ten with the DK, velen and circle of healing and silence for instance, you could do a string of damage that would look like this, 2, 4, 8, 8, 8. 30 damage is pretty good, especially without adding a crappy card like the 5 damage to face card, but I'm not sure how you could build around not having shadow word death. it would make things like bitter tide that much more game losing for the DK priest deck.
I use him in ramp Druid. I think the 3-drops there are more expendable than in other classes. With ramp, you already have a bunch of large minions with powerful effects. So, ideally, I copy Ysera or the Lich King. But fill the deck with other things that are worthy of being copied: Bonedrake, Cobalt, Arfas, etc. Barnes is a natural fit with those types of minions.
Another fun Druid deck that was nerfed by a failed attempt to stop Jade. But it's still fun and does alright where I play (around rank 15).
Is there any use of him Prince Taldaram alone in the deck?
Thanks

I thought as much...ok, thank you for your advice.

Basically he is for minions that have very strong ongoing effect (like Malygos, Ysera or The Lich King) or strong Deathrattle effect.
But there are no cards worth of it yet.

None, every deck that attempted running him so far has found out it's better to just not, he's awful

Easy one, step 1, copy Angry Chicken, step 2, Cruel Taskmaster, step 3 dominate the ladder.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
