I’d like to have a go at Odd Warrior, and most lists have one Big Game Hunter. Is he needed for big removal or can he be replaced? I can afford he dust, but I’ve never really seen him played often. Don’t want to throw 400 dust away unless it helps the deck greatly.
That depends on meta you face. If you face a lot of aggro and combo decks (as I do), you'd probably won't put that card into your deck as there are no use for it. If you face a lot of heavy decks like deathrattle hunter, you'd probably put that card into your deck. That's it. Another idea is even simpler: make a note in mind about which card in your current deck you'd like to replace with that card, each time you draw that card think for youself what if it was bgh instead and what profit you could get from it, repeat that for like 10 or 20 games, then make your decision.

Very good advice from the guy above but from my personal experience BGH helps a LOT with the hunter match-up because of the tempo it provides in the late game when you really need to start killing him quick.
So if you see a lot of those, definitely go ahead and craft the card, it's also evergreen and a tech that comes around often enough in standard.

That is really good advice.
