Yes ladies and gentlemen, the card I am talking about is Blood Knight.
It is my latest discovery that this overlooked, almost forgotten card, is extremely powerful right now, considering the great number of minions with Divine Shield that are popular right now.
In this meta where there are many minions with divine shield, I believe Blood Knight has a lot of potential in various kinds of midrange to control decks. Even if there is no divine shield minions, it is also a 3 mana 3/3 minion, which is not extremely, unacceptably bad.
If you have a bunch of Divine Shields in your own deck, I suppose it can be good. Otherwise, don't see it being too consistent.
My point is even there aren't any divine shield minions, it is ultimately still a 3 mana 3/3 card, which is not unacceptably bad. However, considering that many divine shield minions out there, I believe this card is good.
Blood Knight himself is used in some Divine Shield Pally decks in order to generate a Giant-like stats; after all, you only need to have 2 minions in order to gain 9/9 already. :) As a Tech Card, I don't think it's going to be popular since it only deals with one archetype in a not-so played class currently, but if the meta shifts and Divine Shield Pally reigns, this will be a card that will definitely keep things in check, similar to Eater of Secrets.
I don't see too much aggro paladin these days, and I think that if you can control it, you don't need the Blood Knight. Also C'thun decks are a rarity these days, and eventually they will be capable of dealing with Blood Knight (the average result will be a 6/6 vs a 4/2.
The problem with this card is it's never always useful. I would much rather have another three drop in hand than this one, as half the time it's just a dead card. It's similar to Black Knight in that it's stats are poor for it's cost, and is relatively situational

What do you guys think?
That 3/3 for 3 is insanely weak in today's meta. Before the old gods exapansion, he was overshadowed by BGH as a "general purpose OK with great upside" card.
Now, 3/4 for 4 is the norm, and blood knight trades really bad if you can't grab an opponent's divine shield (Flame imp, war axe, any 3/4 for 3 or 4 drop, flame juggler, ... )
He is not overlooked, I see him pretty often in paladin decks. However, he is win-more, as he will shine when you ahead and never save you when you are behind. The dream-combos like Silver Hand Recruit+Coghammer+Argent Squire+Blood Knight are still too weak, and do not fit the playstyle of the deck.
Malcezaar imp, Babling, Buckler inc. will lead to Squire getting cut from most lists, sry for saying ths but your discovery seems to be to late for party.

First of all, aggro paladin has risen so quickly recently, with the synergy among Selfless Hero, Argent Protector, Steward of Darkshire, and of course, Tirion Fordring.
Apart from aggro paladin, C'Thun decks also auto include C'Thun's Chosen. Aggro shaman also uses Argent Squire

If you play with divine shiled paladin is a good card, for other decks I prefer to tech a Ooze or BGH, is more like to be useful.
When all cards from the new adventure is avaliable maybe eater of secrets can be used.

Tried. 80% of the time if you play it on curve you get a 3/3 for 3 which is insanely bad in the real world of Fiery War Axe and Flame Imp.

I have been using this card with some success in my zoolock deck. Most often he has to feed off of my own Argent squires though

3/3 is horrible stats for the meta, dies to pretty much any early game removal and doesn't even trade well into the biggest T2 and T3 threats.
