With the upcoming release of One Night In Kharazan, I have made the decision that I will be purchasing... Blackrock Mountain. Why Blackrock rather than Kharazan? Because I believe that Blackrock provides more power than Kharazan, and that Kharazan will make enough of an impact to prompt me to need some new cards. As for the cards of Blackrock I am choosing to disenchant, they will give me enough dust to craft a legendary, my question is do I invest heavily into me liking the dragon deck archetype and craft Deathwing, should I craft something more generally useful and reach for Ysera or Ragnaros the Firelord? Or perhaps I should go for a safer option and use my dust to improve my totem shaman with a copy of Doomhammer and a pair of Eternal Sentinel in addition to a pair of Master of Evolution? I am leaning more towards the path of a neutral legendary because that way as my taste for decks shifts I don't get stuck with a legendary that I don't like to use anymore, please feel free to suggest something other than Ysera, Ragnaros the Firelord, or Deathwing. Please note that I had Sylvanas Windrunner, I disenchanted her because when I included her in decks my win rates for those decks went down, and I will not be crafting her again unless by some miracle I get a N'Zoth, the Corruptor, but even then I would be crafting Tirion Fordring LONG before I crafted Sylvanas Windrunner
EDIT: I am asking for the sake of Standard, i realized i never stated this
Right now in standard Ragnaros is better than Ysera. If the meta ever slows down, Ysera will be better.
In wild, which is a bit heavier and slower atm, Ysera is a fine choice.
I can see that being the case, i just am not entirely sure because despite Ysera costing 1 more mana, she almost guarentees her survival with her extremely high health (turn 4 ysera druid anyone? XD it would be rare but doable) so you would almost always get her insane value twice as opposed to ragnaros' almost guarenteed only one use of his ability
i think ysera is more playable in most decks while rag might be better for a few.
I feel as though they are both playable in most decks (excepting of course extreme aggro decks) as win conditions (ysera being more dependable and also capable of increasing dragon decks) with rag being a slightly less dependable as a win condition per se, but definitely a massive power play in addition to druid loving him
Ragnaros is good in allmost every deck but Ysera is pretty powerfull too and if she lives a couple of turns then youre just win the game because her Dream cards and big health are insane.
For almost all dragon decks is pretty solid 7-drop Chillmaw

Yeah, Ysera is a very rough minion to remove and her dream cards are absolutely ridiculous and you typically get 2 or 3 of them. As for Rag, he is also great but much less sticky but also can be playes earlier.
And as for Chillmaw, i feel as though there are better dragons, like Deathwing to be crafting, although i could be wrong, i just think ten mana for a board clear and a 12/12 is absolutely insane, especially considering that Twisting Nether is an 8 mana card, meaning Deathwing is Twisting Nether but you spend an additional 2 mana for a 12/12, which is insane value, vs. Chillmaw essentially being Abomination on steroids with a situational deathrattle
i think you cant dust adventure card before they come out of rotation, and you are stating for standard karazhan will be in standard 2 year and 8 month and blackwing is gonna be wild in 8 month.
If you are just looking to increase your win rate I would craft a Doomhammer. Eternal Sentinel and Master of Evolution are only occasionally included and likely won't have a huge improvement on your win rate.
If you are looking to increase your viable decks I don't think a single neutral legendary is going to have a huge effect on that. Look at the core cards decks are built around and craft those. Doomguards, and cheap buffs if your building Zoo. Flame Waker if your building Tempo Mage. Etc...
Blackrock should allow you to build AggroDragon Warrior, a very strong deck. If you don't have Twilight Guardian craft that.
Deathwing is a fun but not super competitive card. If you craft it there will be regrets. lol.
Ragnaros is most likely to be useful though if your card pool is limited your options for it will be limited. You can probably run C'thun Druid. I doubt you can run enough threats for a Control Warrior, or Ramp Druid, or N'Zoth Paladin, especially since you don't have N'Zoth.

You can, i bought LoE a while back and have uncrafted plenty of it
and when it rotates you can uncraft all cards for their full dust cost (like when they change cards you can uncraft for full dust cost)

If you just want to increase fun craft Yogg. :)
I have a pretty successful C'thun Druid, but i find the deck to be boring and brainless to play, my goal with a neutral legendary isnt to craft a card that will increase the amount of viable decks i can play (i already have quite a few and will have more after i get BrM). I understand that if i wanted to increase winrate i should pick a deck and craft it's core cards, but yhat isn't my objective. My objective is to have strong versatile legendaries that i can use in multiple decks so that i improve those decks. I know it isn't the maximum increase of winrate, but what it IS is an increase of winrate that also increases the amount of variety in my decks (and thus makes the game more fun for me)

I find that Ysera is mostly too slow in the standard meta, rag's more immediate effect is usually superior. I mean, it's probably at least 15 matches in between every control versus control match.

ah damn i should had uncrafted naxx when it rotated, probably too late now

Perhaps, but even in aggro versus Control, as a control type deck if you can keep the board controlled even remotely Ysera can be devastating, but again that does rely on proper circumstance

she's only used in proper slow control decks, which means top end ladder play and wild... the bottom end of the ladder is all zoolock, mid hunter, mid shaman and dragon warrior.... If you plan on playing a deck that uses her than maybe, but I got her in a pack the other day and D/E'd right away as she will not see any play from me for months due to limited amount of cards I have right now. Like the guys said above, the meta is not slow enough for her... however she may have a place in some control decks, I know nothing about those decks though so can't help any more on that.
Ragnaros see's play in a lot of tops decks, both fast and slow... one of the best legendaries you can craft for the current meta (which is going to be here till at least till old gods rotates out which is 2018 or something) I actually D/E'd Ysera to get Ragnaros actually come to think of, also a gold malygos as 1600 dust off one card is too attractive to a new player.

The best way to solve problems is to create more problems until you are dead

I would rather craft 2x golden Purify

you can't disenchant adventures until they rotate out and blackrock isn't rotating out wiht the release of kharazan, it rotates in 2017.
better be warned now so that you can plan ahead.
you can disenchant them, you just can't craft them!
