I could do with adding Arcane Blast to my deck, I can't afford to get Twin Lords yet so just going to hold out for getting them in a pack for now. I have only been playing a few days so trying to make the most out of my resources to make a good deck, so it's a toss up between keeping cards for later decks with other classes and dusting them. I have a small list of higher values cards here I'd be willing dust, but I'd like to check with the community first in case I make a big mistake dusting something that is really good.
these are the cards... Cabal Shadow Priest - Pit Lord - Siphon Soul (Gold) - Murloc War leader - Deathwing - Temple Enforcer (Gold)
It's only a few cards, but could get me an arcane blast at least from the deathwing and the rest may even get me some other bits to help out.
I have the deck uploaded if you would like to look at it to make suggestions for purchases as well.
temple enforcer and pit lord are fine to dust. Cabal is commonly used in priest decks. Siphon soul would be neutral, it is used, but you're getting the dust value to craft one later so if you're not using it it would be an ok card to de. Murloc warleader is seen in murloc decks and death wing occasionally pops up in control
temple enforcer and pit lord are 100% safe to dust they will never see any play
siphon soul was never a 2 of in any deck and the only conrol warlock now is a renolock so he is a 1 of there (obviously) so if you have the 2nd one disenchant it
Murloc were never a thing.. yet but so were pirates and now it's a good deck I would keep him.
deathwing is a great card to keep great in tavern brawls and slow metas (they happen from time to time.. and warriors and druids use him well.
Deathwing is a great card when you get to use him, but he is very niche and I'd prefer not to be in a situation where I have to use him. He is my most powerful and rare card thus far though, but it's not like I'm attached to it, there will be more legends (I'm on day 3 and a half)
I love murlocs, I love the idea of the murloc decks, but do they get used much, really? I haven't played a murloc player yet, but I've only had 19 games so I don't know much. I have no probs dusting any of them, but I may keep the murloc guy as if I do ever run murloc, he will be useful.
So I should probs do the siphon soul then as well with it being a gold, it's worth something. The only gold I have kept thus far is a gold manna wyrm, there are some gold cards I'd have to keep as their animations are so cool though.
this is the deck I'm currently working on BTW (well my first deck, I'm looking to make this as best as it can be and see how far I can get with it)
temple enforcer and pit lord are 100% safe to dust they will never see any play

so keep the priest and deathwing? see deathwing is worth 400, I could get an arcane blast for him and that would go great with my cult sorcerers and sorcerers apprentices. If I can make enough from the other cards, or just find cheaper ways to make my deck better for the coming ranks. I'm currently at rank 16, won 2 and lost 1 so I'm back up to 2 stars I think... I know this deck will get ruined eventually though, I must plan ahead for what improvements I'm going to make as it;s like a week till I can buy any more packs now.
Rushing won't get you far... Sometimes you have to endure the need to dust cards if you want your collection to improve in any way. I'm playing hearthstone for a little over a year now, and am semi-f2p (only bought 4 wings of naxx with money) and have almost all playable cards + over 10k dust in my possession (can get another ~12k dust if I dust all golden stuff). How I got here? Mostly by resisting the need to craft cards right away and got rewarded few times by doing so, (open them from packs thus save tons of dust). I do play arena a lot, thus amount of packs I open is maybe even larger number than some ppl who buy them with real money.
Long story short, resist the urge to dust stuff = profit!

That is good advice, however I don't mind dusting a few cards to get my first deck off the ground.
i read your comments about my dear murlocs, i got really sad :( please do not disenchant them
I love Murlocs, I won't be dusting them :)

bestial wrath was never a good card I don't think it will never be.
force of nature is a good card in theory just didn't fine it's deck yet I would keep it for now.. it might have a broken synergy one day (it was nerfed recently but it was a totally different card before)
frothing berserker is top tier card
eater of secrets is safe to disenchant I tried the card and even in the best case scenario the card fails., ancient watcher is good on renolock
preparation is a core card in any spell heavy rogue.
wyrmrest agent is a decent card just that priest sucks and I doubt you will manage to get all BRM before it rotates out so I dunno if you got for pure practical you can get rid of him.
arcane golem(RIP) and fel guard are terrible cards
temple enforcer and pit lord are 100% safe to dust they will never see any play

thanks bud, I totally don't have to dust my deathwing now! :) I only play mage at the moment mate as I'm only 3 days into the game, maybe pushing 4 if I include the first day where I only played AI.
What cards do you think I should get? arcane blast is a no brainer, but is one enough? if you have the time to look at my deck and maybe make some suggestions on replacements I can do (no legends tho please as I cannot afford to craft them, I'm going to get bron from the adventure expansion for sure though as he would work great with what I have going on.)
thanks dude. I have about 580 dust, with 20 more I could get an arcane blast, another c'thun panda and a doomweaver (I think that's what it;s called, often in c'thun decks!?) or any other suggestions on 600 I could spend on improving my c'thun control conjurer deck, please mate.

Three days into the game? Relax and don't dust anything. You can't possibly even know what you enjoy and what you don't enjoy. You also don't know what cards you'll be pulling out of packs that you are bound to get. I think you're better off trying a bunch of different decks, slowly growing your collection, and only dusting truly useless legendaries to piece together a final card in a deck somewhere.

thanks for advice, taken on board. I already dusted them though so I can't do anything about it now. Baring in mind I barely dust anything, most cards I keep.
If you need dust then dust pit lord and temple enforcer else if you don't need the dust don't dust it. A nerf might come by and it is worth a lot more dust if you disenchant the cards then.

I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.
'How many Blizzard employees do you need to fix a lamp? It does not matter, because they cannot balance the ladder.'
I would advise not investing heavily into cthun mage, it's not going to do you any favours reaching the rank rewards which are really important if you want to be able to improve your deck and expand into other ones, if you are going to be exclusively f2p
You need to focus on a sub 2k dust deck that is ladder viable, like zoo, pirate warrior, mid hunter, aggro shaman etc.
Cthun Warrior and to Cthun Druid are the only ones that are viable right now. As a new player its easy to get pulled into a dead end deck, it depends how you want to play the game and your goals for it.
Your path to get anything out of Arcane blast as it currently stands is the tier 2 tempo mage, but that is going to be a challenge if you are f2p as it requires flamewaker and that is buried in wing 4 of brm. You need to have a plan on what deck/s you want to go for and then save up your gold (do not buy packs with it) for adventure wings.
Once you can get a viable deck and play it well enough you can ladder for rewards 200/505 (rank 5) dust. I would advise dusting all your non playable gold cards if you are f2p as gold is simply not a viable luxury on f2p unless you have been grinding it since the start. (for the most part)
You might find you want to try playing a few classes and seeing how some of the decks that are quality decks play and then saving your dust for those.
You really want to try for at least a tier 2 deck, and learning the game and how to play it well, otherwise you are going to get savaged on ladder with budget cthun stuff.
Can't read every post atm, but I still regret dusting my Death wing, but that's only because I had a healthy collection at the time, and in hindsight it was a mistake.
Might be different if your still new though.

1. You played only 3 days, you started with mage which is fine, but sooner or later (sooner for sure) you will want the variety, and want to play some other decks. Moreover, the meta is always changing, and you can never know what you will need later.
2. You should consider quests and brawl, you can't just play one class and do them.
3. Your list contains very good cards, very bas cards and some neutral cards. It says that you don't know the game yet. If you don't know it, how can you know what will you enjoy.
As a new player I made the same mistake, I totally regret it now.
right, I don't know where you get the idea I'm F2P from!? I've been playing 3 days, how would I even have these cards?
I just got hogger andedwin vancleef in packs, they keepers, guys?
also my mage deck is doing well, I am having fuin with it and winning all my games, I don't see how this isn't worthwhile?. the base deck can be used to build other decks, there are only a few c'thun things in there and most of them can be also used in other decks. I appreciate the advice, but I am just playing the deck the game started me, this is also what most of the pros advise doing also, mastering the mage deck and all it has to offer before moving on, this is what I intend to do, I don't plan on switching to another deck for a while, well another class anyway. as I stated already I am waiting to buy the two expansions and a ton of cards in a week, I'm just trying to get as far as I can on what I've got at the moment.
I appreciate that other decks are better at the top, but I'm a beginner. I'm also not F2P in the slightest, never have been in any game.
