I pretty much play only for the PvE content, so the Dalaran Heist has been a lot of fun for me. One of the really cool things that I like to explore are the passives and treasures that are really weak most of the time, but become borderline broken with a very specific combination of other elements.
One fun example is the recycling passive (2 armor every time a minion dies), which is fairly useless for most decks. Even most token decks don't pump out the quantity of minions it takes to make this passive worthwhile. But combine it with stargazing, the hunter chameleon hero power, and the "spawn a 1/1 copy every time a minion dies" anomaly and stacking up hundreds of armor becomes practically an afterthought.
Has anyone else found some really OP combinations for otherwise useless passives or treasures?
Yeah, i managed to beat the last chapter of dalaran heist heroic with recycling passive and oddball. Pretty weak combination overall but with hunter deathrattle deck and the anomaly that triggers deathrattles twice i finally made it. I have to say though, i got REALLY lucky in last boss.
Story time:
I was in a pretty good spot so i decided to play Kel'Thuzad after clearing his board, and i was completely unaware that the boss had played a secret last turn. Turns out that secret was Mirror Entity, I traded first, then i played Kel'thuzad to ressurect my minions. Mirror entity happens, i cant kill Kel'thuzad and board comes back. Boss trades efficiently with spells etc, kills my board so i was like fuck me, i misplayed and lost. I was about to concede but said i might draw a treasure, so my turn starts and it was like a heard the voice of God: "Let me clear that board for you". I was like FUCK YES, proceeded to win the game. Thank you oddball for giving me the card back after so many lost games.
Not mine but a friend i was watching had a pretty good combo with usually useless stuff, he took the draw 2 more cards at the begining of the turn with no fatigue and he managed to get: when you play a minion add a 1 cost copy of this minion in your deck, pretty insane combo, he went for a mech style paladin deck kind of, really funny to watch
Had the passive to shuffle two copies of minions in your deck and turned all my minions into coldlight oracles using the dopple(something) treasure from the box. Was able to mill most bosses by turn five.

Not something incredibly OP, but Loyal Henchman with Bob's +4/+4 and +2/+2, shuffle 3 copies effect, it's a pretty good way to start the game.
