This deck takes advantage of the fact that two-thirds of your deck technically did not start in your deck, making them count towards your quest. The general gameplay is similar to the traditional quest mage on ladder- you stall and draw until you can launch endless fireballs at your opponent.

Possible Change

  • + Arcanologist
  • - Cabalist’s Tome

 I haven’t had enough games to try more changes out, but Arcanologist is very useful for drawing Ice Block for more stall, and Cabalist’s Tome may be unnecessary because you never need to complete the quest before turn 6 or 7 when Archmage Antonidas is ready.
