A you rdy for a M I R A C L E?
This deck will be super good...
While this is a wildly fun deck and performing well, keep in mind it still gets outrushed and outperformed by faster aggro and a good secret mage.
So great when you're higher up on the ladder, but tough 20-10.
Still though, good deck and it's nice to see a unique Hunter variation.
Doesn't get outrushed by mages if you get a decent draw. Explosive runes don't even pop.
Yeah I'd say you could replace Rexxar with with Flare (lots of secret mages just make sure you test for counterspell) and cat trick Call of The Wild if you have it can give lots of burst if you don't maybe hunters mark.
Spellhunter is a weak deck coz is based on 3 and less toughness creatures. It is so easy to aoe it at its strong turns 4-6.
You're assuming that Mage has access to only one AOE & that is where you would be wrong lol. Most mage decks run multiple AOE's & often can generate more through cards that generate spells. This deck would be awful against Mage in most cases.
Duskbreaker, Hellfire, Abyssal Enforcer, Lightning Storm and concead
This deck has multiple ways of creating a board quick and baiting AoE removal. It's also really good at pushing damage and finding lethal with double kill command, animal spawning, weapons, cat trick etc. When you pop the mage's first ice block (should be accomplished most games) you can play explosive trap to kill her on her own turn. Even this isn't necessary, if you trigger the ice block around turn 5-7, you've essentially already won, since your hero power is so strong in this scenario.
Currently 7-2 against mage with this deck
The deck has limited ways of creating a board of weak low health minions. Most of which can very easily be dealt with unless you're bad at playing a mage. That or you're simply drawing very poorly. I'm not even a mage main these days & I would wipe the floor with this deck. As a Hunter main now, I already know that this deck will fall flat once other classes have their optimal deck going. Sticking to my statement as i know within a few weeks, I will end up being right.
Surprised how well this deck is performing so far
Im doing from rk20 to rk14 right now with 17 wins and 6 loses in asia server
late game is pretty base on the legendary weapon or DK rexxar
It's too soon to say if it is good. the expansion was just released so we don't have a meta yet. Every single deck has a chance to be good right now.
No, this type of deck is not competitive. The rating is from hunter players excited to see any hope for the class in the meta.
It's strong for early in the expansion however once we people pick up on it and play refined decks it will be weaker.
Im pretty sure this deck will be playable after the rotation happens, the hunter spellstone is just too OP
If you like playing hunter you should craft it
This deck doesn't worth crafting
eater of secrets. will end this deck.
This deck is very fun, but as mentioned earlier it relies a bunch on the Lesser Emerald Spellstone to make it good and that card gets countered somewhat by Eater of Secrets. If you happen to have a couple of the higher cost cards already, I'd recommend trying it out since it's overall not too pricey (albeit pricey if you are missing the epics/legendaries).
To answer the question of will it stay in the meta, it can highroll really well if you draw decently, and with Tracking, it becomes a lot more reliable to have a turn 5 fully charged spellstone. However, it will probably become much less popular given time and due to the meta stabilizing. I think it would be like Un'goro quest mage, polarizing in some match ups but then bad against a lot of the meta.
What about - Rhok'delar, To My Side! and + Arcane Giant, Cloaked Huntress? I know that it steals the flavor but I don't want to craft those cards and the archetype seems to be viable with the giants too...
