This deck has been updated for Kobolds & Catacombs http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1001003-k-c-control-warlock
Current winrate with this deck is 89% (17-2) (Before anybody asks, I was at rank 15 / 14 so long because in between games with this deck I was also trying to make Budget Tempo Rogue and Budget Tempo Warrior work -- neither did, I lost so many dang games with those decks :))
Writeup will improve as the deck evolves. Shoot me those upvotes so I know you like the deck and want to see more information about it.
Deck Overview
Basically, the idea is to maintain control of the board while drawing lots of cards using our hero power, healing ourselves and killing our opponents minions. The win condition is Demons / Bloodreaver Gul'dan.
Card Options
IMO these cards are considered "core" and shouldn't be changed -- 2x Mistress of Mixtures, 2x Mortal Coil, 2x Voidwalker, Bloodmage Thalnos, 2x Defile, 1x Tainted Zealot, 1x Earthen Ring Farseer, 2x Despicable Dreadlord, 2x Siphon Soul, 2x Abyssal Enforcer, 1x Twisting Nether, Bloodreaver Gul'dan. The rest can be teched in / out depending on your personal preference and current meta.
2 Drops: Gnomeferatu, Doomsayer, Dirty Rat, Golakka Crawler -- Right now I like Doomsayer and Golakka Crawler best. The other cards are probably stronger against Quest Mage and Razakus, but they are such a small percentage of the field and tough matchups, so I'll take the board clears and anti-pirate tech against the largely aggro field. I'd rather shore up the likely matchups than try to tech against less likely matchups.
3 Drops: Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender - I think Tar Creeper is better at doing the thing I want him to do - Stall the board against Aggro Druid / Murloc Paladin / Tempo Rogue / Zoolock. Stonehill Defender is better value. Happy Ghoul is also an interesting card but I'm not sure it's worth it right now.
4 Drops: Prince Valanar, Blastcrystal Potion, Hellfire -- I was running the Prince but recently cut him for the Hellfire because I wanted an extra early clear. So far I like the swap, but I was honestly happy with Prince too -- you can play either, whichever you prefer / seems better against the decks you are facing.
8 Drops: The Lich King, Medivh, the Guardian -- Right now I'm rocking both! I had Elise Trailblazer in the deck, but quite often my hand was full even after waiting forever for the Un'Goro Pack to come, so I cut her.
Cards better suited to tech against control -- Medivh, the Guardian, Elise the Trailblazer, The Lich King, Stonehill Defender
Cards better suited to tech against combo (razakus, quest mage) -- Gnomeferatu, Dirty Rat
Cards better suited to tech against aggro -- Doomsayer, Earthen Ring Farseer, Shadow Bolt, Prince Valanar, Tar Creeper
Honorable Mention: Skulking Geist - a bad card that is only good in one matchup (Jade Druid) which is only currently about 7% of the ladder. I'm passing on it, but you can consider including it if you'd like.

I do, both seem good! I plan to update this deck for K&C soon!

OK, you are right. The Geist has more value than just against jade. I will need to give it more consideration.
Replacement for Medivh, the Guardian?
Medivh is pretty important because he allows you to control the board after playing Twisting Nether. Nothing will give you that back. You could sub in any number of cards - Elise Trailblazer, 2nd Golakka Crawler, 2nd Twisting Nether, 2nd Tar Creeper, Gnomeferatu.. basically any of the cards mentioned in the writeup.
I added a bunch to the writeup. I'm hoping this deck can spark discussion, because more so than most decks, Control Warlock is a deck with a relatively small set of "core cards". We have like 10 slots we can tweak however we want, compared to, say, Tempo Rogue which has 3-4 mutable slots at best. We can tech this deck to be better against control, or better against aggro, or better against combo, with relative ease. It's a powerful and mutable deck, which is why I think it would be interesting to discuss together.
